7. The restrurant

i'm waiting outside of the nursery too make sure char is okay and marjorie hasn't done anything. i see her walking out the building with a smile on her face.

i raise my eyebrow at her with a grin on my face.
"𝐦𝐢𝐚.. 𝐈-" my face drops as she begins to speak.
"𝐢 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐮𝐬."
"𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭?" i look at her in disbeleif. I couldnt beleive what she had just said.
"𝐦𝐢𝐚,𝐢𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝."
"𝐨𝐡 𝐲-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭 " i got abit upset but covered it up for her sake. I couldnt bring up the fact that i kissed her forehead the night before as she forgot. I walk her back to the nursery and into the room. I walk back into the office and sit there doing nothing.

i feel bad for telling mia there's nothing between us. i couldn't even begin to beleive i told her im still married. i guess i was just to scared for marjorie's reaction, i do feel something with mia. i notice her sitting there with a sad look on her face so i wait til lunch to go sit with her.

she looks at me as if she didnt want me to go back. it gets too the end of the day and i get a text from mia.
'𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫'
i was so confused but i did it anyways. i met her in her car and she started driving, her hand on my thigh the whole ride there. did she forget what i told her?
we get to this resturant and she tells me to order something. i order the steak and a lot happened while we were waiting for our food.
"𝐬𝐨.. 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭. 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞" i look at her not knowing what to say. i look down after abit and stare at my ring.
"𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝"
"𝐰𝐡𝐚- 𝐰𝐡-𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐚"

"𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲.. 𝐈𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐝. 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨."
I look back up to see her smiling st me to reasure me everythjng is fine.
because of how long the food took to come we start talking a lot more. then one thing lead to another. as her lips made contact with mine i couldn't help but think 'wow' i was so shocked. it made me so happy but then i hear a familiar voice shouting at me from afar.
"𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐄"
we both pull away as we heard that. the first thing i thought was what could i do. there's nothing i can do now.
"𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞!!"
I make my way over scared. I knew after she had said good to me and mia not having anything between us, i knew this wasn't gonna end well.
"𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞. 𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬??"
"𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢-"

i look up in disbelief thinking she would've killed me if she found out. even though she didn't look too happy it made me smile. i could see reece in a far corner i knew he had moved far away so he doesn't have to see me and mia. i walk back over to mia and i kiss her on the cheek. i could see marjorie trying to see what was going on. after our food we just sat there for abit talking. it was so nice to have someone i can talk too. she leans over the table to ask me a question i couldn't here at first but is he said it louder to the point even marjorie heard it and instantly looked over.
"𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫, 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐢 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮?"
"𝐦𝐢𝐚.. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐤"
"𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥"
she walks over, grabs my chin and gives me the most perfect kiss. i could feel butterflies in my stomach. she pulls away so i can catch my breath. i was so flusterd i could barley talk. i could see marjorie getting all excited for me and reece, meh not so much i don't really think he was botherd.
After a short while i could finally manage to get my words out
"𝐦𝐢𝐚..."
"𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭"
"𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐠𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞"
"𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐭." she puts money on the table and grabs my hand snd pulls me outside to her car. I was scared but excited too know whst wss gonna happen next...
