Leave me alone.

Espressos feet dragged against the pavement, he felt like something from the walking dead. If he blinked for too long he might have collapsed in the walkway and humiliated himself.

He hadn't slept in almost two days, an unhealthy habit of his to stay up too late for his own good. Especially a night before a major exam or test.

When he got to his class he sat in the back where he was assigned to be. It was that anytime his professor gave his class assigned seats, he sat in the back.

Sitting a man with glasses and below average eyesight the farthest away from the board, funny.

Espresso sat down and took out a tumblr full of his favorite coffee. He sipped on it satisfied. It was so tasty and bitter in a good way if that was possible.

However his mood was spoiled when he heard the voice of a man he barely knew but hated, Madeleine. He was greeting their professor before taking his seat next to Espresso.

Madeleine gave a soft smile but was met with a frown and an attitude from Espresso.

"Where were you last night? You didn't come back to the dorm."

"Why does that matter to you, Espresso?"

"Why are you dodging the question?"

"You're dodging mine to!"

Madeleine whined out, he was frustrated with Espressos insistence. He was quite the nosy one.

"I asked you a question first Madeleine, where were you?"

"I was just with some friends..."

Madeleine finally admitted leaning on his hand.

How anticlimactic.

"See? Wasn't so hard was it?"

Madeleine rolled his eyes. A small pout rested on his handsome face. He rested his head down on the desk. His arm sticking out as his head laid on it.

Some of Madeleines hair was on Espressos desk but he was more distracted by his jealousy of being able to sleep so easily. Especially in an open area like a class.

Espresso got out his notes and began to skim over them. One last look before their test started.

He thought about waking Madeleine up, but what had Madeleine done to deserve kindness from Espresso? Nothing so far that's for sure.

Their professor handed out the test, it was around three pages back and front. Madeleine had woken up at this point so they were both working out the mathematics test.

Espresso breezed through it finishing in only 45 minutes. He knew he had gotten at least a 98% or above.

Madeleine lagged behind Espresso a little but still finished around the same time as most of their classmates.

Espresso sat bored looking around the class before he heard a soft whisper. It was Madeline's annoying voice.

"Do you want to play rock, paper scissors with me?"

"Madeline, I think that's around one of the dumbest things you have ever asked me."

"Soo, is that a no or a yes?"

"No."
