"Ice magic, Chain of Ice."
An ice chain emerged from nowhere and wrapped Ryujin in a strong lock, imprisoning her. The ice melted her burning fire in a few seconds, and she realized she couldn't move from this ice chain.
The ice made it hard for her to breathe. When she thought it was over, she heard the girl's voice enchanting another spell.
"Ice magic, Arrows of Ice!"
Suddenly, many arrows attacked her and knocked her out of consciousness. That was the last thing she remembered before she passed out.

Warm.
She felt warm in her cold body. Blinking her eyes, she realized she was in the bedroom with a thick blanket wrapped around her body. Her gaze moved around, but she couldn't figure out where she was.
The room she was in had a wood wall panel decorated with paintings. There was a desk and a cupboard, like in a standard room. However, it felt unfamiliar. The decoration was not from the modern world like she used to see. It was like she was thrown into a vintage theme room.
"Ah, you already woke up, I see." A girl with a big smile welcomed her.
"Good morning." She greeted her.
The girl has bright orange hair tied in a ponytail. She was still young, so Ryujin figured she was around her age or something. However, what caught the raven-haired girl off guard was how the stranger girl wore clothes that were far from the modern era.
She wore comfortable clothes made from tunics sewn with linen—added with pants and a belt. However, a cloak covered her back, which could be a hood, too.
"Who are you? Where the hell am I?" Ryujin looked around in panic. Her mind filled with worry.
However, the orange-haired girl did not pay attention to her question. "How are you feeling? I hope you are okay now."
The stranger girl stared at her in interest. Somehow, it made Ryujin feel uneasy. "I'm fine."
"I see. Breakfast is on the dinner table. You should get it while it's warm."
"Who are you? Why you don't answer my question?"
The orange-haired girl raised her eyebrow. "Me? Ah, sorry for the rudeness." She said sarcastically. Ryujin cringed when she realized it had a double meaning. "I have not introduced myself. My name is Yeji Hwang; you can call me Yeji, and you?"
Ryujin looked at her with a doubtful expression but finally gave the stranger her name. "Ryujin Shin."
"Hmm... I see. Not that friendly, I guess." Yeji joked.
However, that caught Ryujin off guard. "Excuse me?"
"Haha, I apologize if I come out a bit rude. I mean, your other friend seems a bit hostile towards strangers."
"My other friend?" The realization then hit her. "Chaeryeong... Where is she? Where is Chaeryeong?"
Ryujin remembered how a bandit stabbed Chaeryeong with his blade. Dark blood began pooling beneath her body. She was screaming when that bandit delivered the last blow to her, and everything became blurry after that.
"Is Chaeryeong... Safe? Please tell me if she is safe!" The raven-haired girl demanded immediately, shocking Yeji.
"Don't worry. She is safe. She is in the room beside the living room with my sister, resting. She was already awake two hours ago. She asked about you, but I told her you are still asleep in my―"
