"So, how are you both? I noticed that you slept peacefully. I don't have the heart to wake you for lunch." The orange-haired girl greeted them at the dining table when Ryujin and Chaeryeong came.
"We are fine. I'm sorry we must be tired, but now we feel better." Chaeryeong smiled while Ryujin just kept silent.
Yeji hummed softly. "That is good news. Lia said you would get better soon. So you need to rest a lot, Miss Chaeryeong."
The redhead nodded. "I will be in debt with you two. Thank you for saving us." She bowed to show her gratitude.
"My pleasure; we only do what we can do." Lia calmly responded. "However, there is something that we need to discuss with both of you. If you don't mind."
The air seemed a bit tense after the sudden request. Ryujin frowned upon hearing that. She noticed that the two sisters had now become severe. "What is it?"
The orange-haired girl picked something out of her pocket. It was a strange object that she had shown Lia previously; when she saw that, Ryujin's eyes widened in surprise.
"My phone!" She pointed out.
"My what?" Yeji stared at the object in confusion.
"It's my phone! I thought I lost it somehow." Ryujin requested Yeji to give her phone back. The orange-haired girl paused momentarily before returning the strange object to the owner.
"What is that?" Lia asked out of interest.
"This?" Ryujin showed the object in her hand. "Oh, it's a phone. We use phones for many things, but the main usage is communicating with someone."
"Wow, you can talk with someone with that?" The healer seemed to be surprised. Realizing she might have uncovered her identity, Ryujin suddenly shut up.
Chaeryeong squinted her eyes. This is not good. They will realize we don't belong in this world, she thought.
"Haha, of course not. Ryujin is just joking. It's just for decoration." Being the quick-witted she was, Chaeryeong tried to avoid the sisters from prying further.
The two had a conversation before they showed up in the dining room. Ryujin told her she slipped when pointing out how Yeji's house style was similar to the Medieval era. The redhead was worried that the two sisters were already suspicious of them. She noticed that after the last talk, Yeji had observed their movements.
The Korean girl exchanged glances with Ryujin. They were communicating with their eyes. Suddenly, Ryujin grinned widely. "Yeah, sorry for making a joke like that. It's just I thought I had lost it somehow."
"Yeah, what a silly joke!" Chaeryeong added.
"We already know you are not from our world, so you don't need to hide it anymore," Yeji explained, startling them. Ryujin and Chaeryeong's faces looked tense.
Yeji paid attention to the changes in their facial expression. "Although, we are not sure whether to trust you guys. Considering we don't know, you are our friends or foes."
Chaeryeong sensed the weird atmosphere around her and became more alert. She realized that they were in a disadvantaged situation. Even though she got better, she still needed time to heal. So, they needed to avoid fighting as much as possible. Besides, both Yeji and Lia were a mage. She could not fight with them.
"So what are you going to do?" The Korean girl asked seriously.
"Don't worry; we will not hurt you. If we want, we can do that before." Lia tried to calm the tense situation. "There is no reason for me to heal you if we want to hurt you later."
