Happiness is a butterfly,
Elusive and delicate,
Fluttering on delicate wings,
A fleeting moment of joy.
It dances in the sunlight,
Bringing a smile to your face,
But just as quickly as it comes,
It flutters away into the sky.
Chasing after it,
Grasping at the air,
But happiness is a butterfly,
Always just out of reach.
