Encounter (Part 2: Family Matters Arc)

Y/N looked over her again for the first time in hours, her turquoise eyes staring right back at him. Her hair was black but it looked more blue under the light, it wasn't too long either, stopping at her neck. He had given her a spare blindfold he robbed from the infirmary when he walked by earlier to cover up her right eye. She sat on the edge of his bed, wearing one of his spare suits from his wardrobe "Aren't you going to say anything?" She smirked and stood up, walking right up to him "Is it because I make you nervous~"

Y/N kept a straight face, still tired and desperate for sleep "Sorry for leaving you here all day, you can sleep on the bed, I'll use the chair at my desk."

She didn't seem happy with that arrangement "It's your room, you can sleep in the bed with me." Y/N shook his head, clearly against the idea "What if we put some pillows between us? I wouldn't want you to be uncomfortable while you're trying to sleep." Y/N yawned before nodding and taking a few steps towards his bed. She followed him and grabbed two pillows, putting them in the middle of the bed and effectively creating two separate sides to the bed

"I'll grab you something to wear, you can go in the bathroom to change."

"You sure?"

"Yeah." Y/N walked over to his wardrobe and opened it, grabbing an oversized shirt and some shorts before throwing them in her direction "There you go."

She walked into the bathroom, leaving Y/N alone in his room for a moment while she changed. He took the opportunity to put on a different pair of shorts and a loose fitting shirt, hearing the bathroom door open as he finished putting the shirt on. Luckily, he was facing away from her so she didn't see the scar along his chest. He heard her footsteps approach the bed and after a few seconds he felt a hand brush against his back "Not even going to ask my name before we sleep together, how cold of you~"

Y/N turned around and looked at her again, she was shorter than him but not by much, definitely taller than Nobara. She stared into his eyes, a grin plastered on her face "What is your name then?"

"Himeno."

Y/N nodded and looked at the bed "Which side do you want?"

"What side do you face while you're sleeping?"

"Left usually." Y/N answered, yawning as he did.

Her grin shifted into a smirk "I'll take the left then, just so you have to look at me while you're falling asleep."

"I'll just turn around."

She pouted at him and put her hands on her hips "You're no fun."

"Uh huh, can we go to sleep now?" Y/N laid on the right side of his bed, facing away from the newly named Himeno as he drifted off to sleep.

He was awoken by a knocking on the door of his room but as he became aware of his surroundings, he felt a weight on his chest. Looking down he saw Himeno's head comfortably laid on his chest, still sound asleep despite the loud knocking on the door. He gently moved her head and rested it against a pillow so she wouldn't wake up, walking to his door afterwards "Shimura, sorry for coming by this early but the higher ups are sending you on a mission, you should get ready."

Y/N nodded "Thank you, teacher."

Kusakabe shook his head "Just call me Kusakabe, it's weird being called teacher."

"Understood, Kusakabe. Who's driving me?"

"As far as I'm aware, it should be Ijichi. He'll brief you on the way." Y/N nodded as Kusakabe walked away, allowing Y/N to shut his bedroom door and get ready for his mission. He walked into the bathroom and locked the door behind him before taking a shower. Once he had put on his trousers and formal shirt, he walked out of the bathroom to find Himeno now wide awake
