"Inumaki, we need to make sure the others are safe away from this thing." Y/N didn't take his eyes off the spirit as he spoke

"Salmon."

Y/N kept his finger gun and charged an attack, condensing an immense amount of cursed energy into the tip of his finger "Bang!" There was a desparation in Y/N's voice as he used his technique, this thing would easily be the most powerful thing he had ever faced. The attack hit the spirit's hand but Y/N knew his nerves had messed with his aim, there was no way he'd miss that badly again. The spirit didn't appear fazed by Y/N's attack, instead it slammed the ground and sent large tree roots shooting from the ground. Y/N jumped back, barely being hit by the attack as Inumaki did the same. They needed to either distract the spirit until the teachers noticed and helped defeat it, or Y/N and Inumaki would have to do their best to deaf ear it themselves. The latter option would be impossible, even if Y/N used Absorb, they would be dead before even coming close to killing this special grade threat.

Y/N and Inumaki couldn't hold back the spirit, seeing as it had seemingly become bored by them. It instead chose to slam the ground once more, creating a huge cluster of trees that moved towards one of the building complexes in the forest. Y/N had decided to stay back while Inumaki went towards where the attack was headed, hopefully preventing some fellow sorcerers from getting injured or worse. Y/N ran around the cluster of trees and came face to face with the spirit again but before he could even do anything, the spirit shot a stray tree at Y/N's stomach and sent him flying towards the buildings Inumaki had come from. Y/N landed against the stone floor and cracked part of it before he could even process the attack he had just been hit by. There was no point in trying to figure it out now though, all Y/N could do was attempt to hold off the spirit before it could kill anyone.

Within the viewing room all of the papers remaining burned red simultaneously, confusing the people currently in there "Is the game over? They all burned red." Utahime's eyes were wide as she stood in front of the papers, watching the burning stop and turn into smoke.

"That's odd, my crows didn't see anything." Mei Mei only glanced towards the wall the papers had been on before turning back.

Gojo put his hands together and leaned forward in his seat "I'd love to say that the students of great teacher, Gojo exorcised them all but I doubt it."

Yaga kept his arms crossed, leaning forward as he spoke "Remember they also burn red for unregistered cursed energy."

Utahime turned slightly to face Yaga "So what are you saying, are you suspecting it's an outsider?"

"That would mean Tengen's barrier isn't working." Mei Mei interjected

"Whether it was from some outsider or not, something unexpected is happening here." Gakuganji followed up on Utahime's questions to Yaga.

Standing up from his seat, Yaga made it clear what he was going to do "I'm going to see Tengen. Satoru and principal Gakuganji, please protect the students." He requested before leaving the room. He also told Mei Mei to pinpoint the students' locations and to keep in contact with Gojo and Gakuganji, her only reply being about looking forward to bonus pay.

Y/N soon found himself running alongside Inumaki, Megumi and Kamo, in an effort to escape the cluster of trees that was still following closely behind them. As they reached a set of doors, Y/N's expression became that of concern, watching cracks form in the doors as they got closer before they eventually exploded into a dust cloud. The dust subsided to reveal the same type of wood that the spirit had been manipulating, the spirit itself stood atop it. Y/N had only just managed to notice the veil above their heads that had formed, being unable to see it previously because of the dust cloud "A cursed spirit at Jujutsu High, just who produced this veil?" Kamo gritted his teeth slightly.
