i text the twats groupchat, letting them know about the party telling max to bring andrew,grace to bring billy and george to bring alex,cam,bach and arthur hill.not including arthur tv as i would invite him myself.id only told them it was a small gathering.i pull my phone out to text arthur.

I start by setting up, stringing fairy lights around my living room and kitchen. I finish setting up by putting all my alcohol on my kitchen island with my stack of red solo cups. Then, I run into my room and start getting ready. I decide that it's about time I cut my hair. My manager isn't aware of this. Maxi's friend, Robbie, is around to cut my hair and take cover photos. He's also helping me change the cover before my label notices.

I just did my regular natural makeup, aiming to enhance my natural features. I put on the dress I had already chosen to wear. Robbie cut my hair and took the photos we needed, quickly handling all the technical stuff on my laptop. As soon as he hit enter, the doorbell rang, and I started letting people in. George, Arthur Hill, Alex, Bach, and Cam arrived first, all complimenting my hair. George, being himself, said, "It would look better on me," to which I laughed and replied, "Sure it would, honey."

The door opens again, and this time it's Arthur, Andrew, and Max. Max immediately compliments my hair by barging in, Andrew just gives me a small wave and a smile, but Arthur stands still. "You look beautiful, Cara," he says with a twinkle in his eyes. "Thanks, Arthur," I say, giving him a hug and a kiss on his cheek. He blushes as I pull away. Suddenly, we are broken from our trance as Grace and Billy walk in. "Oh, munchkin, I love it," Grace says, twirling my hair. Billy gives me a small "hi" as he walks in.

i mingle for 20 minutes or so and decide it's time to tell everyone.i walk to the centre of my living room my kareoke mic already set up.i pause the music and tap the mic to gather people's attention.all eyes turn to me.

"i know what your thinking, 'oi turn the music on' and i will in just a moment, the reason i've got everyone today isn't just to catch up and get plastered in the middle of the day. i gathered some of my close friends and some people i even consider family"  i see a few people raise their cups and cheer.

"as i was saying i got you all here because i want you all to be the first people to know that after this" i gesture to the wall behind me,my projected pointing at it. as i finish my sentence a twenty second countdown starts. "that after this countdown finishes my first ever album will be out!"

i hear even more cheers from around the room ams even though the loudness was setting my nerves on edge and anxiety through the roof. i felt safe. in a room full of tipsy adults i felt safer then i had ever been.i hear people chanting around me.
