Price talks with General Shepherd through a video uplink on Price's laptop. Shepherd is in his office in Washington DC.
Price :You hid this- Why...?
Shepherd (in laptop) :We all keep secrets, Captain.
Price :Why the hell wasn't I informed?
Shepherd (in radio) :Consider yourself well-informed now, John.
Price :Oh, that's really fuckin' helpful, General. Thank you. You're gonna do the same f*cking thing, like the last time?
GAZ, Soap, GHOST, and Alejandro listen in on the conversation inside Alejandro's safehouse.
Shepherd (ib laptop) l :Then, point yourself in that direction and fix it.
Price :And who fixes you, eh?
Shepherd (in laptop) :I don't need fixing. I'm a patriot protecting my country.
Price stands up.
Price :You're protecting your own ass.
Shepherd (in radio) :I do what needs to be done and no one holds me down with a roll of red tape. I know what's best for the cause.
Price :Ha ha. You've lost your mind, Shepherd.
Shepherd (in radio) :And you've forgotten what you're fighting for, John. To do good, you gotta do some bad. When we shit, we bury it, that's how it works.
Price :Yeah... But we don't bury each other with it, do we?
Shepherd (in radio) :You need to turn off that side o' your head and face down the real enemy again, Price.
Price :You need to call off your Shadow.
Shepherd (in radio) :Graves...?
Price :Yeah.
Shepherd (in laptop) :Hahaha... He's a dog with a bone, and I highly recommend you don't try and take it.
Price :This is your last chance to change your mind.
Shepherd (in laptop) :Then what?
Price :Then after I go for him... I'm coming...
Ghost goes over and closes the laptop, shutting off the uplink. Ghost then nods to the four soldiers in the room.
The scene shifts to another part of Alejandro's safehouse where Los Vaqueros are prepping their vehicles, equipment, and weapons. The song "141" by Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga can be heard faintly in the background. Alejandro opens the doors and walks through the stables with TF 141 behind him.
Alejandro :(whistles, in Spanish) Hey- Vaqueros, pay attention.
All of Los Vaqueros gathers around Alejandro and TF 141 at a table as the background music stops.
Price :Alright, listen - We are taking back your HQ. We are getting our prisoner. We are killing Commander Graves.
