He jumps to platform and checks himself first before entering.

He jumps into the portal. His vision goes black.

Ghost slowly comes down to the ground and begins to shoot at the Giant Alien.
Ghost (shooting) :Eat this sh*t!

Ghost begins to shoot at all the three crystals on the wall.

Ghost begins to shoot at the Nihilanth. Making a huge of amount damage. The Alien fires multiple blue ball beams's at Ghost.
Ghost :(dodges)
The Alien fires a huge portal ball, which Ghost uses a jump pad to evade the projectile.
Ghost :(jumps) Hm?
Ghost notices his head starts to move a little.
Ghost :The head's moving... (!) The head! (Shoots)
He shoots at the Alien's head making it open and revealing a huge energy inside of it.
Ghost :Aha! Bingo.
Ghost jumps back at the jump pad and shoots at the creatures exposed head.
Ghost (shooting) :Rah!!
Nihilanth :(screams in pain) AHHHH!!
Ghost gets back back from the ground and watches as the Alien slowly rises up into the void, lighting started to coming out from it, with also energy balls.
Nihilanth :(screams)

Suited Man :Gordon Freeman in the flesh. Or should call you, "Simon Riley". Aka " Ghost".
Ghost :What the...it's you! And how did you my name?
Suited Man :I've been watching you, since from the previous world.

Then the scene changes into the world of Xen.
Suited Man :That’s why I’m here, Mr. Riley. I have recommended your services to my employers, and they have authorized me to offer you a job.

The scene again change into a tram ride. In the middle of the void. And he got his military uniform back.
Ghost :The tram again?
Suited Man :You’ve proved yourself a decisive man, so I don’t expect you’ll have any trouble deciding what to do. If you’re interested, just step into the portal and I will take that as a yes. Otherwise...well…I can offer you a battle you have no chance of winning. Rather an anticlimax, after what you’ve just survived.
