Changbin woke up with a heavy heart, regretting his decision to go with the group. He felt drained and unmotivated, the loneliness gnawing at him more fiercely than ever. Still, he pushed himself to get ready, not wanting to let his friends down. He dressed quickly and made his way downstairs, his footsteps echoing in the quiet morning.

As he reached the living room, he found Chan, Minho, Jisung, and Felix already there, chatting loudly. To his surprise, Seungmin and Jeongin were also there, clearly prepared to join them on the trip to the human world. The sight of the three couples, so content in their relationships, made his heart ache a little more, but he forced a smile.

"Morning," he greeted, trying to keep his voice upbeat.

"Morning, Changbin!" Felix called out, beaming. "Ready for our adventure?"

Changbin nodded, though his enthusiasm was forced. "Yeah, let's do this."

" We running there? Or.." seungmin trailed off

"I think since Felix and Ji are still new to turning and we are such a big group, we should take the car" Minho said looking over at chan across in the kitchen trying to steal a slice of meat without Felix looking

"Yeah, good idea" chan said as he successfully snuck a piece, munching on it loudly in success, which only earned him a smack on the back of the head from Felix, to which, he whipped back around and looked at Felix giving him a stern look, so he just gave him a cheeky smile and a kiss on the cheek

They all gathered around the table for a quick breakfast. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and conversation, but Changbin found it hard to participate. He picked at his food, his mind wandering to darker places.

Noticing his friend’s quiet demeanor, Jeongin nudged him gently. "You okay, Bin?"

Changbin forced another smile. "Yeah, just not a morning person, you know?"

Jeongin seemed to accept this answer, but his eyes were filled with concern.

The breakfast continued, everyone finishing up quickly in their eagerness to get on the road.

Finally, it was time to leave. They piled into the car, Chan taking the driver’s seat with Felix beside him. Minho, Jisung, Seungmin, Jeongin, and Changbin squeezed into the back. The couples naturally gravitated towards each other, leaving Changbin feeling more like a seventh wheel than ever.

As the car started and they drove off, the conversations picked up again. Felix and Jisung excitedly discussed their plans for the day, while Chan and Minho chimed in with suggestions. Seungmin and Jeongin shared a quiet conversation, hands intertwined.

Changbin stared out the window, trying to shake off the melancholy. He knew today was supposed to be fun, a chance to reconnect with their old lives and gather the things they missed. But all he could think about was the emptiness inside him, the longing for a connection he still hadn’t found.

He sighed, hoping that the trip to the human world might bring a distraction, if not some small comfort. As they drove on, he silently vowed to push through his feelings, at least for today, and try to enjoy the moments with his friends.

They arrived at a house, Felix's house first, Felix and Jisung both are always busy and traveling parents, so they were very unaware of their sons disappearance, the group of 7 entered the home and Felix grabbed chan's hand, immediately leading him up to his bedroom, it was a blue navy room, posters all over the walls from movies, shows, bands and concerts, Felix just grabbed a suit case and kept putting things in it that he would need.

"Lix?" Asked chan softly as his eyes trailed over the framed photos on his desk

"Yes my love?" Felix answers, looking up from packing and walking over to where chan was standing, looking at the photo of him and Jisung laughing brightly.

"You were an adorable child" chan says gently as he stroked the picture, grabbing ahold of Felix's arm and giving him a back hug, holding him close with his chin on his shoulder, pressing his chest against Felix's back and he nuzzled into his hair,his arms secure around Felix's waist, breathing deeply of Felix's scent

"Thank you" Felix said happily, he leaned back into chan's arms and placed his hands over chan's around his waist, gently intertwining their fingers, chan completely took Felix into his cocoon and Felix has never felt any safer or happier, chan's scent giving him comfort

Chan hummed as he kept holding felix close, burrying his face into Felix's neck and started to pepper soft kisses against his neck, Felix tilting his head to give him more access

"You're my everything you know that?" Chan whispered against Felix neck

"Yours" Felix said in a soft hum, closing his eyes and relishing in the feeling of chan's lips on his neck
