Just before he walked back to his room, the doorbell rang. Felix froze in his spot. It was past two in the morning. Who the hell would be at his doorstep? Was it her? But she never rang the doorbell. She would always knock on the door.

Hesitantly, Felix walked to the door. He stood behind it, contemplating whether to open it or not.

"Mr. Lee!" The unique high-pitched voice of the apartment building's owner echoed. "You'd better open up now."

Felix sighed in relief. At least it wasn't her. But still, he was confused about why the owner was there that late at night. Felix opened the door slightly not allowing a body to pass through, but only for him to face the man outside.

"Finally!" The man groaned. "I've been waiting for ages!"

"I opened literally after the first ring!" Felix exclaimed. He didn't take much to open the door.

"Mr. Lee, Your neighbors are complaining. They say you have a girl in there, that keeps singing loudly late at night."

There was a girl. But not in there.

Felix sighed. "No. I have no one. I live alone."

"Then, let me in. I will check it myself." The man almost ordered.

"I said I have no one." Felix snapped at the man.

The man inched his face closer to Felix's through the small space between the door and the doorframe. His eyes sparkled in a strange way that made Felix slightly flinch. "And I said, let me in." The man almost growled and it came out as if he had two voices talking inside of him.

And that's when the whole situation snapped in Felix's head.

It wasn't the owner.

No, it was the owner but he wasn't alone. She was there. He had her inside of his body.

Felix frantically, tried to push the door closed, but he was already late. She, in the owner's body, kicked the salt that lined the doorstep, opening a gateway for herself. The moment the salt line was interrupted, a strong gast of wind blew through the doorway, pushing Felix away and to the ground. The door was wide open ahead of him. A white shadow emerged from the man's body and into the house at the speed of light. The man fell to the floor outside and then the door was slammed close.

She was in.

Run!

The first thing Felix thought of was to run. But he was lacking common sense at that horrific moment. Instead of running out, he ran in.

He jumped to his feet and started running to his bedroom. Although she was inside his house, he knew she would be weak. The spells surrounding her would make her slow to reach for him. Felix stormed into his room and closed the door behind him, locking it. The lock was going to do nothing against her. He needed a spell and some salt.

Damn!

The salt bag was outside.

His second option was to write a magical spell with fresh blood. That would be strong enough to keep her out. Frantically, he started running up and down his room, looking for clean paper and something sharp to make a slight cut on himself to drain blood.

"Felix," She sang somewhere in the corridor leading to his bedroom. "Where are you hiding?"

Felix slammed a hand over his mouth. He wasn't going to give her any clue of where he was.

"Come on!" She whined. "You are not good at hiding. I can feel how you are trembling. I can hear your frantic breaths." Her voice was getting closer. She was almost at his room's doorstep and Felix made no progress with the spell yet.

Fuck the clean paper! He will write the spell on the door directly.

The sharp blade of his shaving razor was in his hand, ready to cut his palm.

"Knock Knock!" Her voice echoed again. She was just behind the door. "I guess I found you." She sang again. "I'm coming in."

Felix was beyond panicking. Never had he had before to hide from a ghost. Never he feared ghosts that much even when he was a little kid. Looking around him, his eyes fell on the closet. As childish as it may seem, he ran to it, jumped in to cramp his grown body in the tiny space, and shut the door closed. His razor's blade cut deep in his palm and his blood was dripping down his arm. His index finger of the other hand dipped in his running blood to start writing the spell on the closet's door from inside.

"I'm in!" She announced her presence which made the poor boy startle. "Where are you hiding, pretty boy?" She sang. "Ah! Do you like to play hide and seek? I wish I had time to play, too. But as you see, I'm in a little hurry." She paused, making Felix wonder where she was. He was writing his spell. He was a few letters away from sealing it. "Are you under the bed?" She questioned and Felix could hear her shuffling around his room again. "No? Then, are you hiding in your closet?"

Felix's blood froze. A few more seconds and he would be done. His index moved on the closet's door to write the final letter. Just as he was placing it, the door swung open.

"Found ya!" She chanted.
