Re-discovering Calum Hood

Ice cream and deep discussions

For the rest of the day i couldn't get Luke out of my mind. I really want to meet up with him soon to find out if he feels the same way. 

I start thinking about Luke and how it felt when i was talking to him. What am I thinking? A guy like that would never like a girl like me. He's just another dumb guy anyway, he shouldn't be taking up my mind like this. It was then and there that I made a promise to myself. No matter what happens between Luke and I, I will not lose the real me and will not let him turn me into a boy obsessed girl.  

I put my earphones in and blasted some blink-182. I could only just hear a faint honk of a car horn. 

"Hey beautiful, did you need a lift?" Luke asked from his car. 

I nodded and quickly go into the car. 

"So about getting to know each other, why don't we go for ice cream later? I could drop you home so you can drop your school stuff at home and then I'll come and pick you up at 3:45," Luke said quite quickly. Then I realised that he was nervous. Luke Hemmings, the hottest guy in school was nervous to talk to me. 

"Yeah sounds like a plan. I mean I don't really care about you, I just want ice cream," I grinned. 

Luke laughed. 

"Okay here you go," Luke said as we pulled into my driveway. "Woah, nice house," Luke said in awe of my house. 

"Thanks," I said getting out of the car. "I'll see you soon," I said as I started walking to my front door. 

"Okay see you later Princess," Luke said. 

I didn't even have time to respond before Luke was driving away. Did Luke just call me princess? 

I walked into the house where I was greeted by Lucy and Mason. 

"Skye!" Mason yelled and ran into my arms. 

I picked him up and started to walk towards the couch where Lucy was sitting. 

"How was your day Mase?" I asked. 

"Really good, I made a rocket ship and I painted a picture of it. Wanna see?" 

"Yeah sure Mase," I said. 

Mason ran upstairs in search for his masterpieces. 

"Hey Lucy, where's derek?" I asked as I walked towards the kitchen in search of and after school beverage. 

"He's gone to our new house to do some more renovating with Ben and Andrew." Lucy and Derek had just bought a house which means soon it will only be Mum, Mason and I living in the house. But before they can  move in they have to renovate it because the last people living there completely trashed it. 

I decided to just wait until ice cream with Luke to get a drink. I sat down on the couch next to Lucy. 

"So who was that handsome looking fella who just dropped you off?" Lucy asked with a smirk on her face. 

"His name's Luke and he asked me out for ice cream this afternoon," I smiled.

"AHHH! My little sis has a date!" We both started jumping around in excitement. 

Then there was a knock at the door. That was Luke. I went to open the door. 

"Hey beautiful, are you ready to go?" Luke asked. 

"Ah yeah let me just get my stuff and then we can go. Did you want to come in?" I asked. 

Luke stepped inside and looked around in amazement.
