Echo comes onstage
ECHO: (addressing the audience) Oh hello everybody, welcome to the show. My name is Echo, this whole story is about what's going on up in the old upstairs attic-Oh (goes offstage to grab a chair) almost forgot I need this for scene one, I totally forgot to grab the chair because I was busy looking at my lines for this play, if I forgot what to say I would mess up this whole play and it would be my fault. (Pauses to think then looks at the audience) Nevermind that (smiles) I feel like there's something else I'm forgetting.
Nick comes in with a desk.
NICK: You forget this offstage
ECHO: (looks at NICK confused) Who are you and how did you know I needed this?
Dianne comes running onstage towards Nick
DIANNE: WE DON'T COME ON YET IDIOT
NICK: WELL THE KID FORGOT THE DESK
ECHO: I HAVE A NAME YOU KNOW
NICK AND DIANNE: (confused and looks at Echo) Why are you yelling?
ECHO: Well because you guys were yelling
DIANNE: (sighs) Just sweetie forget you ever saw us
ECHO: Well how i'm i supposed to do that
Dianne puts a magic pair of headphones on Echo and grabs Nick and pulls him offstage, Echo sways to the music and closes her eyes.
