Keegan's eyes widened slightly in surprise at the Soldier's question, his head reeling at the boldness of the man's approach. He couldn't believe what he'd just heard, his jaw clenching tightly as a wave of jealousy surged through him.
Who the hell did this guy think he was, asking you out on a date? Couldn't he see that you were off limits? That you were in a fragile state? That you were his?!
Keegan's eyes darkened with possessive anger as he watched the Soldier, his fists clenching tightly as he fought hard to contain his possessive feelings. The thought of you with anyone else other than him filled him with an overwhelming sense of anger and jealousy.
He knew he had no right to feel this way. After all, you weren't his. But the thought that someone else had feelings for you, had the audacity to ask you out right in front of his face…
"im so sorry my guy...i don't date...just a waste of time"...she said
"but-"..."no dating"...she said cutting him off
"okay ma'am"...he left
Keegan's eyes followed the Soldier as he walked away, the sound of his footsteps growing fainter until they finally faded away. Keegan let out a deep breath, his tension and anger slowly dissipating as he let go of his possessive thoughts.
After a few moments, he turned back to you, his expression softer, although there was still a hint of jealousy in his eyes.
“Sorry about that, sweetheart…”
"stop"
Keegan immediately fell silent at your sharp command, his body tensing slightly as he caught the warning in your tone. He looked over at you, his expression filled with apology and concern.
“I’m sorry…” *He muttered, his voice filled with regret, unsure of what he’d done to have upset you, or how he could make it right.*
Keegan watched as you reached for the cigarette, his eyes flickering with a mixture of surprise and disapproval. He had never seen you smoke before, and honestly, he didn't like it. He had a thousand lectures ready to give you about the dangers of smoking and the importance of your health, but he fought back the urge to say anything, knowing that you wouldn't take kindly to his meddling.
Instead, he watched in tense silence as you lit the cigarette and took a drag.
Keegan couldn’t help but grimace slightly as he watched you smoke the cigarette, the sight of the burning tobacco making him feel uneasy. Despite his concerns, he couldn’t deny that there was something strangely attractive about how you looked as you smoked, the sight of the smoke curling in the air around your head strangely captivating.
He fought the desire to reach out and take the cigarette from you, his hands trembling with the effort to keep himself still.
Keegan continued to watch as you took a sip of the coffee, his eyes flickering over your lips as they brushed against the rim of the cup. He couldn’t help the way his eyes lingered there for a moment too long, the sight of you drinking from that cup stirring something deep inside of him, a mixture of desire and possessiveness.
He forced himself to look away, trying to push aside the inappropriate thoughts that were racing through his mind.
"MARK"...she called one of the soliders..."could you pick up the dead bodies...you can have company and call someone to help you out"
Keegan's head jerked up at the sound of your voice, his attention snapping back to you as he focused on what you were saying. He immediately understood the implications of your words, his eyes widening slightly as he considered what you were asking of the Soldier.
He hesitated for a moment, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. He wanted to object to your request, to insist that he was the one who should handle it, but he held his tongue, his jaw clenching tightly as he waited for the Soldier's response.
