Kim Dohoon walked down the hall next to his friend. What was weird were the stares, and people whispering to each other as the two boys walked right in front of them.

"Why are they staring?" Dohoon asked his friend, the boy took him to the side, it made him confused.

"Because you're a fag!" He said bluntly, Dohoon gasped after hearing that. Obviously, that was blatant homophobia. The boy felt his heart sink when he saw people pointing at him.

He tried to ignore the notes that were thrown at him during class. But that wasn't even the worst part. Getting his bag stolen and all his books thrown out. He didn't understand why people were acting like that. They didn't act this way when he was still in the closet, he hadn't outed himself on purpose.

What was even worse, was that his friends were just watching him get bullied.

As Dohoon was leaving the school after such a terrible day, he got pushed to the floor. His jeans ripped, revealing his bloody knee.

His walk home was terrible as well, since one of his classmates lived on his street. And she kept on making remarks on his sexuality.

Dohoon tried to hide what happened at school, but his mother heard him enter the house.

She gasped after seeing the boy missing his bag and blood on his knee, obviously seeing your son like this isn't a pretty sight.

"What happened Dohoon?" She immediately asked, making him sit at the kitchen table. The boy took a deep breath, he had dropped a bunch of signs that he wasn't straight, but never out right said it. So in a way, it would be his coming out.

"The kids at school found out I'm gay" He said in one breath looking at the table. He didn't want to hear his mother's reaction. She didn't do anything at first, but then stood up.

She grabbed a paper towel and soaked it in cold water. She made her son roll up his jeans to clean up his knee.

"Aren't you going to say anything?" Dohoon asked in a slightly irritated tone, even if the reaction was negative, he still wanted to hear something from her.

"Please never feel afraid to ask for advice, I might not be able to help you as much with girls, but I'll try my best!" She said with a smile and grabbed some disinfectant.

"Now, what happened exactly?" She asked, to know everything that happened. How bad the bullying was. Dohoon explained everything that happened, all of that in a simple school day.

"Oh goodness, well, it's a good thing we're moving then" Normally, Dohoon would be devastated by such news, but this time, he was actually happy about it. It had only been a day, but it felt like torture, and he'd probably have to go through everything again, every single day.

"When?" He might've sounded over enthusiastic, but he didn't care. He had to move away from this, it was only the start of something terrible.

"On the 20th, you'll start school on the 22nd" She started explaining the different details, like the town they would be moving to. It brought Dohoon comfort, that he could stray brand new.

Just 21 days ago, Dohoon probably went through one of the worst days of his life so far.

Now, he was in front of the school gates, about to start new. It made him happy, he'd be better at hiding his sexuality.

He went to the front office, so that he could integrate his class. He was always in the same school, so changing schools mid year felt weird to him. But it was for a good cause, so he didn't mind it at all.

"So, Kim Dohoon, right, uh, Choi Youngjae, he'll help you around! He should be coming in a minute!" The woman at the desk looked around. She called out the name of the boy after seeing him from afar.

"Right, Youngjae, remember to be nice and helpful!" She said before letting the two boys off. It was awkward between the two, as they were both introverted.

"So, why did you move?" He asked, to start a conversation, probably not the best question. But Dohoon simply made up a white lie.

"Personal reasons, have you always lived here?" Dohoon asked, adding the last part so that he wouldn't seem rude. Youngjae nodded, he had never moved, the only time he would leave town was to visit his relatives.

"Oh, class is about to start! Let's go!" Youngjae grabbed him by the arm and pulled him towards a classroom on the second floor.

"We have Korean first!" Youngjae explained and made Dohoon stand against the wall, while waiting for the class and teacher to arrive.

Once the class arrived, they entered and went to their seats. Dohoon stayed outside, he knew that he would have to introduce himself. Something he hated, despite never doing it.

"Alright introduce yourself!" The teacher said with a smile, Dohoon stood in front of the class.

"Uh, my name's Dohoon, I moved here during the weekend and I hope you'll welcome me" He said shyly, that was all he could say. He smiled awkwardly. The teacher then told him to sit next to a boy in the back.

Now this boy, he was absolutely stunning. He seemed to be at a rather average height. He had a smile showing off his teeth and had medium length, black, straight hair. It fits him well.

Dohoon walks up to him and sits next to him.

"Hi! I'm Shinyu!" He whispers, Dohoon was barely paying attention to his name, as his attention was taken away by a small pin on the boy's pencil case.

"I like your pencil case" He says, Shinyu blushed out of embarrassement, no one really talks about it. So, he didn't know how this boy- Dohoon, would react.

"Are you gay then?" Dohoon asks, as most people wouldn't just have the gay flag on their pencil cases if it wasn't at least for support.

"Im- just an ally" He answers, surprised, although it wasn't convincing. Most allies would just have a pride flag, not the specific flag for men loving men. Dohoon didn't really care though, if something like what happened at his old school were to happen, then at least some one would defend/help him.

I randomly changed to present tense at some point so ignore that 😭 I hope you enjoyed this first part! I'll try to make some kind of schedule for all of my active stories cause it's getting out of hand 😭
