Everyone stared down at Merle's hand and as they did, Daryl snaps and aims his crossbow at T-Dog as he lets out a scream of anger. Rick pulls out his colt python and aims it at Daryl.

''I won't hesitate. I don't care if every walker in the city hears it." He told him as Daryl stops aiming at T-Dog for a moment. "Guys, this won't work out if we aim our weapons at each other." Lloyd said. "Even if Merle is gone right now, who knows if he could be alive." he added.

Daryl lowered his crossbow as he then asked "You got a do-rag or something?". Seliel pulls one out and hands it to Daryl. Daryl grabs it as he kneeled down and picked the hand up.'' I guess the saw blade was too dull for the handcuffs. Ain't that a bitch.''

He walks over to Glenn as he puts the hand in his backpack. Glenn felt uncomfortable as Daryl said "He must have used a tourniquet, maybe his belt. Be much more blood if he didn't." 

"I suggest we check around to see if he's anywhere in the building." Lloyd said. "Kid's right." T-Dog said as he got the tool box when they left. Then, they noticed a blood trail that leads to the set of stairs. they follow it as they checked.

They proceeded to walk down the stairs as they followed the trail of blood still. It leads to the office room. As they entered, they spotted two dead walker on the floor. "Merle must of have been here and managed to kill walker one-handed." Cole said as Daryl replied "Of course. Had enough in him to take out these two some bitches. One handed. Toughest asshole I ever met, my brother. Feed him a hammer, he'd crap out nails.''

"But how did he still managed to do that while bleeding?" Nora asked as she holds her crossbow in hand as Seliel said "Must of have used something to stop the bleeding."

They continued as Daryl calls out for his brother. "Merle!" He called out as Rick stated "We're not alone here. Remember?" 

"Screw that, he could be bleeding out. You said so yourself." Daryl replied as they still continued. but there was no sign of Merle. Suddenly, they came across a kitchen. As they walked in slowly, they saw Merle's belt and the stove was ignited.

Glenn noticed some burn stuff as he asked "What's that burned stuff?". Cole walks over to see as he said "It's his skin." Cole said as Rick added "He cauterized the stump." "Told you he was tough. Nobody can kill Merle but Merle." Daryl said.

"It's shocking that he managed to do that. I just know he lost a lot of blood." Nora said as Lloyd added "It still It didn't stop him from leaving this building." Lloyd and Nora both saw a broken window as the others turned to look.

"He left the building? Why the hell would he do that?" Glenn asked as Daryl stated "Why wouldn't he? He's out there alone as far as he knows, doing what he's got to do. Surviving."

"You call that surviving? Just wandering out in the streets, maybe passing out? What are his odds out there?" T-Dog said as Daryl added "No worse than being handcuffed and left to rot by you sorry pricks. You couldn't kill him. Ain't so worried about some dumb dead bastards."

"What about 1,000 dumb dead bastards? Different story?" Rick asked as Daryl looked at him. "Why don't you take a tally? Do what you want. I'm gonna go get him." 

As he starts walking towards the broken window, Rick pushes him back. "Daryl, Wait!" He said as Daryl yelled "Get your hands off me! You can't stop me."

Lloyd steps in as he said to Daryl "Daryl, I don't blame you. He's family, I get that. I know exactly how you feel. He can't get far with that injury. We could help you check a few blocks around but only if we keep a level head."

Daryl looks at the Green Ninja as he then response back "I can do that."

"Hey, what about the guys you mentioned, Rick? we should get them first." Cole said as T-Dog agreed with him. "I'm not strolling the streets of Atlanta with just my good intentions, okay?"
