Draven had just finished his Defense Against the Dark Arts class at Hogwarts when he received the unexpected news. A message had been delivered by a flustered owl, informing him that his mother, Narcissa Malfoy, had been admitted to St. Mungo's Hospital after suffering a heart attack.

His heart clenched with worry as he read the words, his thoughts immediately turning to his mother. Without hesitation, he excused himself from his students, leaving Professor McGonagall to take over the class in his absence.

Racing through the castle corridors, Draven made his way to the Apparition point near the gates of Hogwarts. With a sharp crack, he Disapparated, arriving at St. Mungo's Hospital in a blur of motion.

As he rushed through the hospital corridors, his mind raced with thoughts of his mother. Narcissa had always been a strong and stoic woman, rarely showing any signs of weakness. The fact that she had suffered a heart attack filled Draven with a sense of dread.

When he arrived at his mother's room, he found Draco and Astoria already there, their expressions tense with worry. Astoria looked up as he entered, her eyes red-rimmed from crying. Draco stood by his mother's bedside, holding her hand tightly.

Narcissa lay on the hospital bed, pale and frail, her usually elegant features drawn with pain. Despite her condition, she managed a weak smile when she saw Draven.

"Draven, my dear," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I didn't expect to see you here."

Draven hurried to her side, taking her hand in his own. "Mother, I came as soon as I heard. How are you feeling?"

Narcissa's smile faltered slightly as she looked up at her son. "I've been better, but I'll be fine. The healers are taking good care of me."

Draco stepped forward, his expression grave. "The healers said she needs plenty of rest and monitoring," he explained. "They're optimistic about her recovery, but it will take time."

Draven nodded, relief flooding through him at the news. "Thank Merlin," he murmured, squeezing his mother's hand gently.

Astoria spoke up, her voice trembling with emotion. "We're all here for you, Narcissa. You're not alone in this."

Narcissa's eyes flickered with gratitude as she looked at her family gathered around her. "Thank you, all of you," she said softly. "I couldn't ask for a better family."

For the rest of the day, Draven remained by his mother's side, offering whatever comfort and support he could. As he watched over her, he felt a deep sense of gratitude for his family and a renewed determination to cherish every moment they had together.

Hermione stepped quietly into the hospital room, her heart heavy with concern as she saw Draven sitting by his mother's bedside. Narcissa Malfoy lay still, her chest rising and falling in a slow rhythm as she slept soundly. The room was dimly lit, casting long shadows across the walls.

"Draven," Hermione said softly, approaching him with a gentle hand on his shoulder. "You need to rest. You've been here all day."
