Hermione Granger sat at her desk in the Ministry of Magic, her quill scratching against parchment as she reviewed yet another proposal. Her office was a haven of organized chaos, with stacks of books and papers meticulously arranged around her. Just as she was about to delve into the next report, a soft knock on the door interrupted her focus.

"Come in," she called, setting down her quill.

The door opened to reveal Draven Malfoy, carrying a stunning bouquet of flowers. His presence filled the room with an unexpected warmth. Hermione's heart skipped a beat as she looked up, a smile spreading across her face.

"Good morning, Hermione," Draven said, his voice smooth and warm. "I thought these might brighten your day."

He stepped forward and placed the bouquet on her desk. The arrangement was beautiful, a mix of vibrant colors and fragrant blooms. Hermione's office seemed to come alive with the infusion of fresh flowers.

"Thank you, Draven," Hermione said softly, her eyes meeting his. "They're beautiful."

Draven nodded, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his lips. "I'm glad you like them. I'll leave you to your work."

Just as he turned to leave, the door opened again, and Ginny Weasley walked in, her eyes widening at the sight of the flowers.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" Ginny teased, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Flowers from a certain handsome professor?"

Hermione felt a blush creeping up her cheeks. "Ginny, it's not what you think. Draven was just being thoughtful."

Draven chuckled, giving Hermione a reassuring smile before nodding to Ginny. "Nice to see you, Ginny. I should be going. Enjoy your day, Hermione."

As he left, Ginny's grin grew even wider. "Thoughtful, indeed. So, Hermione, care to explain?"

Before Hermione could respond, Harry and Ron entered the office. They both immediately noticed the flowers, their eyebrows raising in unison.

"What's all this?" Ron asked, pointing at the bouquet. "Who sent you flowers, Hermione?"

Hermione sighed, feeling the weight of their scrutiny. "They're from Draven. He was just being nice."

Harry exchanged a glance with Ron before turning back to Hermione. "Nice, huh? What's going on between you two?"

Ginny, unable to resist the opportunity to stir the pot, added, "Yeah, Hermione. Spill the beans."

Hermione took a deep breath, knowing she couldn't dodge their questions forever. "Draven and I are... rebuilding our relationship, one step at a time. He's explained a lot about the past, and I believe he deserves a second chance."

Ron folded his arms, his expression serious. "And what did he say about why he used that spell on you?"
