A Night Operative of the Night Coalition, one of the Counterspies for Missions.
(Ding! Ding! Ding! You are Elusive.)
Elusive can shapeshift into any kind. Take for example, They can shift into a Day's Civilian, This shift can be used when they are taken on a mission in The Days Union, In disguise.
The problem is that when they are either shot, sliced, cut, or injured in any type of way, Their blood would come out as the night's natural blood color, Black. This would inform a Civilian, or... any kind since the Day's natural blood color is green.
Ever since Elusive's first mission failure after they had tripped on a step and fell on their face, Instantly giving a nosebleed.
Well, of course. Many people noticed this and informed a few civilians, guards, and then the supreme leader.
Till then, we trained Elusive on how to not be... Stupid. Then for a few years, they are now our main counterspies.
In a few weeks, they will have their mission once again, this mission will help us interfere with what the Supreme Leader is planning to do for the next war. And how will Elusive do this? Well...
"Interfere with The Days Union? Are you insane?"
You exclaimed to Horrid who was at the end of the table looking straight at you.
"Look Elusive, The man that we held hostage yesterday was a Sovereign Shield. Meaning that you could take over his place since we... Killed him. "
Horrid gave you a look of a blank expression, hinting at how this mission could be serious. But how the hell could you do this? If you were given a choice to back out, you would in one snap. But you couldn't.
The other Night operatives that had sat in the meeting room only stayed silent, while Horrid managed to break the silence a few seconds later.
"It is still decided, All you need to do is pretend you were the Sovereign Shield that we killed."
"What was his name and appearance though?" You asked,
"Err.. Well, I'm sure his name isn't important. No one would want to remember a Guard would they?"
It only took you a few seconds to think of an excuse just to back out,
"What if I bleed? And they see?"
"Then don't make it happen."
...
"What if—"
"LOOK, this will take a week to do. so If you fuck anything up, Then we are leaving you behind."
"Meeting over."
And with that, everyone in the meeting room stood up and left.
You only stayed in the room stunned, did you really have to do this? Just for the Night Coalition?
