"And don't come back!" The man yelled at you, pushing you out the door.

"Ugh, touchy," you said, rolling your eyes and flicking your hair before walking off.

That was the last place who wanted to hire a thief, your last job opportunity. Again you had been kicked out, that one lasted about a week before they got sick off you. You never really liked being told what to do, but I guess that's not how the real world. You were a brilliant thief and had an even more brilliant mind, but alas, your words got the better of you once again.

You walked over to your apartment building only to discover a load of your stuff packed in boxes outside your door and a big eviction notice slapped across the apartment number.

"What?!" You exclaimed, your eye twitched slightly. "Not even a warning?! Great, just great...," you said through gritted teeth. "I'll poison the landlord next time I see that old hag..," you mumbled.

As you reached for the boxes, you saw something sitting on top of one. 'I'm not sure that was there a moment ago..," you thought. Picking it up revealed that it was from a place called V.I.L.E, it was sealed with a green wax stamp. You tore the envelope open, being sure to not rip the letter.

~Nightshade

We are trialing only the top villains to compete in having a spot in running V.I.L.E along side us.

- V.I.L.E

"Finally! Something fun, watch out V.I.L.E, your about to get a new member," you laughed.

You grabbed a bag and packed it full of stuff you would need, most importantly bombs! All kinds really, green smoke bombs, flare bombs, and your signature poison bombs. They don't call you Nightshade for nothing. You got out your phone and opened GPS.

"Damn, this place is in the middle of nowhere," you said, slightly annoyed. After walking outside for a bit you finally found a kid who looked to be in high-school get of a motorbike. You quickly run over, pushing him to the ground and jumping on the motorbike.

"Oww, hey!" He said in an annoyingly squeaky voice.

"I'll be permanently borrowing this!" You said while driving off.

When you finally got to the place, all there was was an abandoned warehouse. Suddenly a tiger girl jumped from the roof and landed infront of you. "You must be the newbie," she said, looking you up and down.

"Didn't know they trained furries," you smirked. The tiger girl swiped her claws at your face and you stumbled back.

"Hm, didn't know they were recruiting bitches," you decided this would be a good time to shut your mouth before things got out of hand. "C'mon newbie, we need to get on the plane,"

The two of you walked onto the plane, it was filled with all sorts of weapons. You just sat in the corner, fidgeting with a new bomb you were creating that exploded on impact.

"Get up," the tiger girl hissed.

"Huh?" You said, looking up from what you were doing.

"Get up, we're here," she said, walking out the huge plane door. You grabbed your bag and started putting your tools and poison away, suddenly tiger girl was dragging you by the arm.

"Ow, be patient, damn it!" You said. After gathering your things, you both made your way over to a large room with a long table in the middle, seated at the table was: a buff green haired lady, an old albino man, a stubby scientist and an elegant woman with a fabulous dress.

"Nightshade," the elegant woman spoke up. "Or would you prefer to be called Y/n?"

'How does she know my name?!' You thought. "How do you-"

"Don't actually answer that, I don't really care," she said with a bored expression as if she'd done this a thousand time before.

"I am Maelstrom," the albino man took over. "This is Coach Brunt, Dr Bellum and Countess Cleo,"

"We are the leaders of V.I.L.E," Brunt said.

"And as you may know, we are looking for another," Dr Bellum said, motioning towards the empty chair next to her.

"If you complete three missions without Carmen Sandiago ruining it, consider this seat yours," Maelstrom finished.

"Do you think you have what it-" Cleo questioned but was then cut off.

"What type of green is that?" You asked.

"Excuse me?" Cleo gasped in disbelief

"Your dress, is it fern, or more of a jade?" You said getting closer to her.

"I um, i believe it's- AAHG!" While Cleo was set a bit off guard by your question, you had snuck up behind her.

"I must say, the stitching is immaculate," you commented.

"That's enough," Brunt interrupted. "Dr. Bellum, could you escort Nightshade to the graduates sleeping quarters,"

"Wait! I uh, I'll do it, Dr. Bellum is obviously distracted by cat videos again," Cleo interjected and stood up before anyone could protest. Just as you were leaving the room, you glanced over at Dr. Bellum, and sure enough, she was watching cat videos.

"Sooo," you started. "You wanted to personally escort me, huh?"

"Don't get the wrong idea, Nightshade. I simply volunteered, I know Bellum can be a bit...," Cleo trailed off, she picked off a piece of fuzz from her otherwise perfect dress before flicking it away.

"Whatever floats your boat, darling," you teased, nudging Cleo with your elbow. She looked away from her so unfortunately you couldn't see her reaction.

"You will be going against Carmen Sandiego tomorrow, do not disappoint," Cleo said.

"Oh I promise you won't be disappointed." You said with a grin, the both of your continued to walk until Cleo came to a stop.

"We're here," Cleo said. We stopped infront of one of many doors, they all looked the same except for a metal number at the top. 147. "Well then, I shall see you soon,"

"Later, darling..," you smirked.

"Hmm... not too fond of that nickname, or your outfit," Cleo said, rolling her eyes and pointing at your clothes. Your outfit were pretty basic, just a t-shirt and jeans.

"Well if your such a fashion expert, why don't you make me a new one... darling," you answered back, laughing at Cleo's reaction. Her face was a mix of annoyance and being flustered.

"Goodnight, Nightshade," she said turning around and walking away, her heels made a clacking sound that echoed behind her. 'She really is fabulous..,' you thought.

You turned around to see your room. It was a basic one, bed, bookshelf, desk and drawers. You dump out some of your bomb-building equipment onto the desk and get to work. "This Carmen Sandiego won't know what hit her!" You laughed.
