The blue diamond caper

The sunlight flooded through the gaps of the curtains that covered your windows. This time, you already up, waiting till it was you time to make your entry into the faculty meeting room. Perhaps while you listened to them about your mission you could steal a few glances at Cleo.

"Ugh, what am I thinking? I would just focus on the mission," you cursed yourself under your breath before making your way to the faculty. 

"Your surprisingly on time," Maelstrom commented.

"Yeah, get on with it, will you," you grumbled, stealing a look over at Cleo, she was tapping in her fingers on the table. Once you returned your attention to Maelstrom, he continued.

"Your next caper will be in India, a mine in golocondo sultanate produced natural blue diamond, and some people are offering to pay 100,000 per carat,"

"I have developed technology that will allow us to track the diamonds while vile operatives drill through the mine," Dr Bellum explained. "If Carmen Sandiego shows up, which she will, you will dash out with the diamonds,"

"Pretty straight forward, I'm guessing I'll be taking a plane there?" You asked.

"Yes, it's outside now, so I suggest you hurry," Maelstrom said. Once he said that, you left the room, still walking at your normal pace. 'No one tells me how fast to walk.' You thought. Just as you were nearing the door to the outside, you herd a familiar clicking sound of heels, you turn around to see your favorite faculty member has caught up to you. 

"We just had a new indoor swimming pool installed, you should come by tonight,"

"Why? You want to see me in a swimsuit?" you joked.

"No, just want to get to know you better." Cleo laughed.

"Hmm, we'll see then," you said.

Cleo had a thoughtful look on her face, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "I guess... we will,"

You boarded the plane to find Tigress, Le Cherve and some other guy talking to Le Cherve. 

"Hello, you must be the new operative, I'm El topo," he smiled. 

"Nightshade," you replied. You all arrived at the old mine, Tigress walked around holding a screen up to the walls, trying to locate the diamond. 

"Yes!" she exclaimed. "I just found themother load of natural blue diamond, she laughed. El topo then dug a quite substantial hole through the earth until he hit the blue shimmering gem. After digging around the pieces, they were lowered into crates, waiting to be sealed. 

"Nightshade," a familiar voice called out your name. You turned around to see the scarlet superthief, Carmen Sandiego, next to Tigress, who was tied up in rope with a very annoyed expression plastered on her face.

"Carmen Sandiego, we meet again," you said.

"Hmm, those diamonds look shiny, think I might take 'em," Carmen commented.

"Carful now, remember what happened last time we did this dance?" You laughed. And with that, you ran towards here, sending a flying fist her way. She blocked it, pushing you onto the crates. Punching her never was your goal though, planting a glitter bomb on her coat was, and you succeeded. "Y'know, glitters kinda like your skill issues," you commented. Carmen just raised an eyebrow to that while you both threw punches and kicks at each other.

"It sticks to anything, it's problematic, and you can never get rid of it..," you smile, backing away with a sinister grin.

"What-" but before Carmen could finish her sentence, a swarm of green glitter burst out her jacket, covering her from head to toe, and blinding her view temporarily. Plus she was now both visible and fabulous. Taking advantage of the situation, you untied Tigress as Carmen struggled to wipe glitter from her eyes (which didn't work since her hands were also coated in glitter.) With the same rope you and Tigress managed to tie up Carmen before running outside with El topo and the crates, he only got a slight glance at the bedazzled Carmen, but that was enough to get the three of you laughing. 

"Ha! Did you see her face once she got the some glitter off of it, it was priceless!" Tigress said between laughs.

"Yeah, although I can't decide what was more funny, you tied up or Carmen," you joked, earning you a shove from Tigress. 

"Okay, but did you see when she tried to get up, but fell?" El topo laughed. 

"No, haha!" The two of them continued talking and before you know it, you were back at vile.

You had a dark purple bikini on underneath your clothes (If you don't like bikinis then that fine, I just think they look nice style-wise) and a towel had been thrown over your shoulder, you had waited until most of the vile operatives were asleep or in their rooms before you made your way over to the pool to meet Cleo. You opened the door to the pool room to find Countess Cleo already in the pool, sitting on a step.

"Hello, Countess," you waved.

"Please, call me Cleo,"
