Chapter 6: Stronger

Zack will soon be in Macon Town with Lee, Mark, Kenny and David, the teacher.

"Why do we keep going here?" Zack asks while looking at his surroundings.

"Food, mostly, and medical supplies," Lee replied with an eyebrow raised because he also didn't know why they came here for medical supplies but food. They got that because Zack is a great hunter. The boy can find animals in hours before returning with two or three rabbits or birds.

Zack glared at the teacher, "If you learn what I did, we won't be like this."

David takes a step back. "S-Sorry, I'm not a hunter. I'm a teacher."

"Failure teacher, that is what you are; wake up. This is our reality now... you are no longer a worker but a survivor, so act like one..." Zack said as he walked forward and climbed a trunk to get into the store, where they met with the grumpy old man.

"I'm going to say again... Zack is right; you are nothing but a burden to us," Kenny said as he followed Zack.

David looked down as Mark held his shoulder and said, "Hey, is okay. I'm pretty sure you will get used to it, but you have to keep strong."

"Thanks, " David replied.

"Come on, we have to keep moving," Lee said as the other, except Zack and Kenny, were already on top of the truck.

"AHHHHH HELLPPPPP!!!!"

Zack and the other hear a woman's voice screaming for help.

"What the heck is that?!" Kenny asks as Zack gets the weapon ready.

"Survivor!" Lee yelled when he and the other saw a woman run out from the abandoned building.

"We should help her!" Mark said as he aimed his gun toward the upcoming Zombie that came for that woman.

"Wait, this our time, and she the bait. We can use her while we take the supply," Kenny suggested as the other looked uncomfortable with that suggestion, but not Zack.

"You guys thinking fucking long... Go to the shop now, and I'll hold back and probably save the woman," Zack takes a shot to save the woman before the zombie can bite her as he jumps down and shoots more zombies, making around the woman clear with the undead. "HEY! DEAD WEIGHT COME WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO SURVIVE!"

The woman starts running toward Zack while Zack covers the woman by shooting the Undead. He turns back and sees his group still shocked at his decision, "WHAT THE FUCK YOU GUYS WAITING FOR GO NOW MEET ME AT BASE!"

Lee and the rest nodded as they went into the shop.

"T-Thank you!" The woman said while standing behind Zack.

"Don't thank me. Are you bitten?" Zack asks while shooting more undead.

"N-No, Please get me out of here." The woman begged as Zack sighed deeply when he got out of the bullet.

'Clem, you gonna make me regret agreeing with you in this 'Save any helpless survivor' that I could find...' Zack in thought as he pulled his blade from the holster, and the woman backed away, thinking that Zack would kill her.

"P-Please don't kill me! I-I'm not bitten!" The woman is begging.

"Shut the hell up, stay still..." Zack dashes fast toward the woman as she screams and panics.

The woman stops screaming as she feels the blade just beside her head, and behind her is the undead who is trying to eat her. Zack manages to kill the undead as there's more upcoming.
