EPISODE 10: Deep-Sleeper (The Dance Party - Part 2)

The dance party at François Dupont High School continued with renewed energy after the battle with Nighthound.

Host: Hey guys. Sorry about Nighthound. He disrupted the party. But, he's gone. The party may continue.

The ballroom was alive with music and laughter, and the gang were all immersed in the festivities.

CatNap: It might be time for my segment.

Marinette: You are gonna rock this, CatNap.

Adrien: I agree.

It was time for a special segment called "CatNap's Dance Moves," where CatNap, known for his enthusiasm, was set to showcase his talent.

CatNap: Okay CatNap, you can do this.

CatNap stepped onto the dance floor, his confidence radiating as he began to perform.

CatNap: Okay everyone, these are my dance moves. I hope you all like them.

The crowd watched in anticipation, but midway through his routine, he stumbled and failed a particularly tricky move.

CatNap: Ouch...

Marinette: CatNap! Are you okay?

Laughter erupted from almost all the participants, excluding Marinette, Adrien, and the Smiling Critters.

Embarrassed and hurt, CatNap ran away from the crowd.

Adrien: CatNap, wait!

DogDay: Something's wrong! We didn't laugh at him! We just... watched!

Marinette: I'll go talk to him!

Marinette runs off.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Agreste, disguised as his civilian self but plotting as Shadow Moth, tried to slip away to enact his next scheme.

Gabriel: I might be able to akumatize the host. It is good for the next phase of my plan.

The host of the party, having been informed of the controversy surrounding Gabriel, intercepted him.

Gabriel: What is it?

Host: Gabriel, you need to leave.

Gabriel: Ugh, don't tell me you want to start another drama like DogDay.

Host: There has been way too many controversy surrounding you, and it is not safe for you to be here.

Gabriel: No.

Host: Leave, now, Gabriel!

Gabriel: NO!

The host grabs Gabriel by the arm.

Gabriel: LET ME GO! LET GO OF ME!

Gabriel slaps the host in the arm.

Host: WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU, GABRIEL???

The host then slaps Gabriel in the face.

Gabriel: THAT'S IT!!!

Gabriel then pushes the host.

Gabriel: YOU WANT DRAMA??? FINE! I'LL GIVE YOU DRAMA!!! NOOROO, DUUSU, UNIFY!!!!

Gabriel transformed to Shadow Moth. An akuma flies out.

Shadow Moth: Dark-Host, I am Shadow Moth! You have been proven wrong about a serious situation. But I am giving you the power to take your anger out on others. All I ask for you in return is Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous! Do we have a deal, Dark-Host?

Host: NO! NOBODY WILL EVER AKUMATIZE ME! I AM ON LADYBUG'S SIDE! YOU WILL NEVER TURN ME INTO EVIL!

The host then rejects the akuma. The akuma flies out.

Host: I AM GOING TO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT WHAT AND WHO YOU REALLY ARE!

The host runs off.

Shadow Moth: My plan for DogDay and the host may have failed, but I can feel another negative emotion fluctuating rapidly.

CatNap is then shown outside, crying.

Marinette: Are you okay?

CatNap: No, I am not. I am sick and tired of other people making fun of me, for what, failing my dancing? No! They should be at least clapping for me. (sobs)

Marinette: Yeah, I can feel you. I was being laughed at too, you know. And it hurt me.

Before the conversation may continue, the akuma flies to CatNap.

Shadow Moth: Deep-Sleeper, I am Shadow Moth. I am giving you the power to put everyone and all your bad memories away in a deep sleep. All I am asking for you in return is Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous. Do we have a deal?

Marinette: WHAT???

Marinette then puts her hands on CatNap's shoulder.

Marinette: CatNap, listen to me! You have to reject Shadow Moth's power.

Shadow Moth: Accept my power! Or else...

CatNap then turns to Deep-Sleeper.

Marinette: Oh no...

Marinette then hides.

Marinette: Tikki, spots on!

Marinette then transforms to Ladybug.

Deep-Sleeper is then shown at the same place.

Deep-Sleeper: Everyone, you are not gonna be prepared for what I am going to do.

Deep-Sleeper then releases a blast of sleeping energy.

The host then runs to the microphone.

Host: EVERYONE HERE NEEDS TO LEAVE, NOW!

Everyone looks up at the host in confusion.

HOST: PLEASE, EVERYONE! YOU ARE ALL IN GREAT DANG--

Suddenly, strange marks began appearing on everyone's skin.

DogDay: Urgh, what is this???

Adrien: I don't know! Go and find a safe place. I'll go and find Marinette.
