William threaded a hand through his hair, his amber eyes surveying the midday sky from the latched open window. It was the feeling of balmy weather, the scintillating sun was heavenward to the west of the sky, a gentle wind flowed past William's bangs, and sturdy chestnut trees scattered tightly around the expensive property.

It was quiet as well, no children running through the roadsides or cars passing off the stench of gasoline and the sounds of rumbles. William's best guess was most people here were either old retired couples or successful wealthy families. The housing was in a simple way, all mansions and three story houses. It was a rich neighborhood. He wouldn't complain, it was a perfect area to live in. It wasn't humid, it wasn't overly steamy, and the nature was stunning.

Just as he was doing now, he always liked to sit by his bedroom window and observe outside for a few twenty minutes. However, he had to be careful since it was two stories up. And it was a long fall. It was pretty annoying though how that babysitter would always burst in his room and demand him to get off. Speaking of that-

"Afton, for the millionth time, get down from the window. You're going to bust your damn head."

The bass voice made William jump a little bit but he retained his posture; the body language and the glint of the boy's eyes returned to their usual choleric attitude in an instant. "I told you to stop coming into my room, prick. You're not very good at listening to what others say." He spat, threatening to sit even further on the window ledge to make his babysitter pissed.

His eyes caught as Vincent stormed to him, trying to straddle his waist and pull out of the dangerous situation. William kicked him in the stomach, though he did it lightly. It was good enough to make Vincent lose his grip.

"And not to touch me without my permission." His haughty mouth snapped, giving Vincent a little push.

"Yeah? Well, I'd rather not have you fucking die you moron." Vincent caught himself from falling and clenched his fists, "Or in a matter of fact, trying to run away or whatever stupid shit teenagers do nowadays."

William crossed his arms, "I'm a literal adult." His brow furrowed.

"You don't act like it." The other man replied as he reached past Afton to seal the window shut. He gave an odd scowl toward the younger man before storming out of the bedroom.

...

A few hours had passed since that moment and William couldn't get it out of his head. Was he concerned? Nah. Did he find it funny? Yes indeed. It was amusing to him how they could go from being so intimate in a night to cursing each other out and throwing copious amounts of glowers at one another.

He giggled to himself as he smeared peanut butter across the crisp toast, grabbing the now two plates of food and handing it over to the dinner table. "Taylor! Tyler! Food's ready!" He announced, watching his two midget siblings eagerly run from the living room to sit down and gobble it up.

Shouldn't Vincent be doing all this? Yes, he should. But of course, he sucks and can't be relied on to do anything. So, William obviously decided to take it into his own hands.

A weird thing William was starting to notice with the babysitter though was how tense he seemed to be now. He wasn't like that around his little siblings. But, toward William, he certainly was. William couldn't place a finger on it, was he backing down and being submissive? Was he starting to dislike William even more and choosing to ignore him? Or was he becoming uneasy about their secret intimacy?

William would guess the last option, anytime they were alone together, Vincent would automatically find a solution to leave.

He sighed, he wasn't even able to start with reasons as to why Vincent could be acting like that about their relationship. It's not like William was underage, ugly, or clingy. He sighed again in frustration. People could be really confusing.

Maybe he was worried William would reject him in the end. Well. William wouldn't do that. At least he thought so. Yeah, no, he wouldn't. He's not a little prick like Vincent. He would talk it out with Vincent, but that dumbass might leave instantly or decide to quit their relationship all together. Plus the fact William's ego was too high to admit anything could be his fault.

"Brother, why have you been standing there for thirty minutes straight?.." Tyler's voice trailed off, blinking innocently as William snapped out of it.

William frowned with a shrug, "Have you two seen Vincent?" He queried.

"Backyard." Tyler pointed to the sliding backdoor behind him. "He said he wanted to take a look at our mosaic pool!" He squeaked.

William thanked him with a simple nod and walked past the twins, heading across the living room and into the tropical feeling of outside. The weather was the same as it had been hours ago, but with the cold winds now a bit stronger, plus the fact that the pool was making it less hot. He could hear splashes as he neared the pool, signaling Vincent was probably swimming.

He found the man sitting by the side of the water, only with his feet dipped in.

Vincent seemed to notice him relatively quickly because he stepped out and backed up from the shorter boy.

"What's your deal?" William frowned, taking a step forward to intimidate him.

"Nothing-," Vincent began, "Just swimming." He picked up a towel from the side table, wrapping it around his chest and abs.

William scowled at him, "No, not that, idiot! I mean your attitude this week. What did I even do?"

Vincent bit his lip, "I've been acting how I've always acted." He raised an eyebrow before he stepped back again.

William's brow furrowed, "You've been avoiding me for no reason." He complained to Vincent who had just rolled his eyes.

"Because I don't want the twins to find out about our.." He sighed roughly, "This thing going on between us."

William pursed his lips into an even deeper frown, "Our relationship? It doesn't mean anything?"

"No, it doesn't. It's.. weird, okay? We shouldn't even be remotely intimate with each other." Vincent pinched the surrounding between his eyebrows in frustration. "I'm your.. babysitter."

William shook his head, "So? I still want you." He confessed with a small pout, looking needily into Vincent's eyes.

"Will- we can't." He let out a disappointed sigh.

William padded toward him and grabbed his hand, colliding their bodies. "You're just making that up in your head." He pushed against him roughly, making Vincent freeze up. "Only one of us can stop it, and I'm certainly not letting you be the first."

Vincent was about to pull him off but was kept distracted as he felt a soft hand slide up his towel, pressing against his abs and squeezing his body. His eyes closed and he begrudgingly leaned back, allowing his immature boy to give him a sweet smooch.
