I was quite in a happy mood when I got home from school. But as soon as I hear men shouting, running and first aid kits my mood changes. Silently I follow the running men. I see Taiyo sitting, shouting at the men around him, while one does something to his arm, while there's a lot of blood. Father, Grandfather and Ichiro are behind Taiyo. Father says something, while slapping Taiyo on the back of his head. Then, suddenly, Taiyo looks straight at me. "Don't worry" he says. "It's just an arm. Your big brother isn't really hurt" he says, though it sounds more mocking then reassuring. Then all at once, Father, Grandfather and Ichiro look at me. Father sighs as he pinches the bridge of his nose. Grandfather walks over, steps out of the room and closes the door behind him. "Katsuki-chan" he says in a soothing tone. "You know better than this. Better than to be in the way" he says. "I wasn't...I was just seeing what the commotion was all about" I say softly. Grandfather smiles. "You know better than to be curious" he says. "What happened to Taiyo-nii?" I ask. Grandfather doesn't respond. He just smiles but he has a meaningful look on his eyes. "I understand" I mumble, looking down at my feet. "Now, be a good girl. Ayame-chan is in the tearoom waiting for you. Do your homework if you have any" Grandfather speaks softly, but it also betrays that he will not accept any argument. I bow slightly, before turning around and walk along the engawa, into the hallway toward the tearoom. When I slide open the door, Ayame is reading a book, with a tray with a teapot and cups in front of her. She looks up from her books and sees me. "Ah, so you've been sent here as well" she says dryly. "I suppose so" I say, stepping in and closing the door. "Do you know what happened?" I ask as Ayame pours us tea as I sit down. "Nope" she answers. "Aren't you curious?" I ask. Ayame smiles. "Yes. But there's a time and place to ask. And that is when I retreat back to my room with my husband" Ayame says with a wink. "I don't have that" I say, crossing my arms. Ayame chuckles. "Don't be in a rush for that. Until that happens you have me" she says.

I open the gate, where Mikey on his motorcycle is already waiting with Draken beside him who has Emma behind him on his motorcycle, Mitsuya, some other guy I haven't met yet, but who seems close to Mitsuya. As well as a guy with long black hair, and beside him one with shorter blonde hair. "Katsuki" Father says, before I can step up behind Mikey. We all look at him, as he's at the gate. Father frowns slightly. "Don't make me regret this" he says. "I won't, Otosama" I say, stepping on behind Mikey, who gives me a helmet. As soon as it's on, he drives off with the others behind him. I feel quite liberated behind him, especially as I look back and see the others having fun, as well as Mikey. The drive to the beach isn't long, and soon everyone is parking their motorcycles. Emma immediately walks over. "Dude, your dad is intense" she says. I smile bitterly. "Try living with him" I say. "For now let's forget about it, and have fun" she says, pulling me onto the beach. Emma and I are putting our towels on the sand, as the others jump out of their T-shirt and dive into the sea in their swim shorts. After Emma and I are done, marking our spot, we take off our dress and join the others in our bikini. "This is kind of unfair of you" I hear in my ear and turn around to see Mikey behind me. He smiles cheekily. "I'm only human" he says. "What's wrong?" I ask, looking down at my body. "Nothing is wrong. You're pretty" Mikey says. "If you don't believe me, look at how everyone is looking at you and Emma" Mikey says amused. "I'd rather not. I'd only get embarrassed" I say, diving down so my body up until my neck is under water. Mikey gives me a quick peck on my lips before he dives onto Draken, which soon results in a water wrestling match between the boys. Emma sighs deeply as she reaches me. "Boys will be boys" she says, shaking her head as she watches them. "How about we go get something to drink, or some ice cream?" I ask. "Yeah, let's go" she says. We wade out of the water, and toward our towel. "My brother gave me money so it's my treat" I say smiling. "That's very kind but you don't have to" Emma says. "I know but I want to" I say.

I'm on the engawa, watching my brothers and father in the yard. I see my brothers banter, which is a rare sight to see, especially seeing them both laugh. What probably is a more rare sight is that my father is laughing with them. "I don't think Otosama like me very much....some days I think he doesn't even love me" I say. "What makes you say that?" Grandfather asks. "He's always in a bad mood when I'm around, I can never hold a conversation with him because his answers are so short and dismissive. The only time he really talks to me is when he scolds me. A smile like that...is something that he would never do to me" I say, sadly. Grandfather sighs deeply. "Even though the marriage to your mother was arranged, your father was madly in love with her and loved her dearly. He cried with the birth of every single one of you because she had given him such a precious gift, even more so with yours because you were a girl. The only one" Grandfather says. "It was tragic when your mother died, since all of you were still so small. A part of him broke and still is to this day broken." He adds. "You are so much like your mother in both looks and spirit. This makes him both proud and very sad because he is reminded of what he has lost. He tries to not let it show and I guess he's failing miserably at that. Please be assured that he loves you very much, probably even more than your brothers" Grandfather says. "I don't know what to do with that information. It doesn't even sound real to me" I say. "Hm I'm sorry you feel that way, Katsuki-chan." Grandfather says softly. "Yeah, me too" I sigh and turn around. "Where are you going?" Grandfather asks. I smile sadly at him. "I'll be in my room. There'll be something to do for me there..." I say. With that I walk away. I walk up the stairs and to my room. I sit down on my bed and glance out of my window. I see my father getting scolded by my grandfather, both he, Ichiro and Taiyo stand there awkwardly. I sigh deeply and lie down on my bed. Maybe I should just sleep until school starts again.
