"On silent days, I miss you a little louder." -May

[1ST PERSON POV]

Today is the day I am supposed to be speaking in Cannibal Town.

"Fuck, Charlie I can't do this..!"

My hands shake as I hold my paper, the crowd of people down below all look up at the stage with black unblinking eyes.

"It's going to be ok Y/N, trust me."

Charlie gives me a comforting smile and Rosie puts a hand on my shoulder.

"They are going to love you Y/N!"

She pulled me into a squished hug and patted my head.

Letting out a shaky breath I stepped up on the stage and adjusted the microphone to my height.

Just as Lucifer promised he stood next to me at a comfortable distance and nodded at me.

"Please welcome Y/N to the stage everyone, she will be giving us a special announcement!"

Rosie spoke into her megaphone and stepped to the side of the stage.

"Hello everyone.. today I would like to talk about-"

A voice from the crowd cut me off.

"BOOOOO BRING ROSIE BACK!"

"Excuse me I-"

"GET OFF THE STAGE!"

The voice was coming from an old woman.

I turned to Lucifer who looked.. angry.

"BOOOOOO!"

I gripped the paper in my hands tighter, every word the woman screamed at me made me angrier until..

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

She finally became silent and Lucifer put a hand on my shoulder to calm me down.

I cleared my throat and continued.

"AHEM. As I was saying... Today I would like to talk about heaven, they have terrorized us long enough and it is time we finally fight back, do you want to spend the rest of your days living in fear that the angels are going to come down and finish you off for good?"

The crowd slowly shook their heads.

"Then please stand with me and my friends to finally put a stop to their terrorism, soon there will be a fight with heaven and we need strong-willed sinners like you to help us, please join us in our fight."

After a few more lines of my speech the crowd began cheering which I think meant that they are on board with our plan.

Me, Lucifer and Rosie all exited the stage, Rosie and Charlie began congratulating me.

"You did amazing Y/N, I am so proud of you!"

Charlie gave me a tight hug and then went off somewhere private to speak with Rosie.

It was just me and Lucifer.

"I am impressed by your words.."

A small blush rose to my cheeks as Lucifer complimented me.

Its hard not to blush around him...

"Thank you.."

"For what?"

"Being up there to support me, I appreciate it."

I then decided to take a risk and pulled him into a hug.
