CHAPTER | 005
HEARING a loud knock on your door, you got up from the couch and walked over to the door. you open the door and was surprised to see jungkook at your door. "what happened to you?" your eyes widened when you saw bruises and cuts on his face. you grabbed his hand and pulled him inside your house. you had him sit down while you got ice. "my father found out that i want to run for the throne and has me fight with my brother. as you can see, i lost to him and my father told me that i should not dreaming and be grateful that i'm getting the title of duke" jungkook said. you walked back to the living room and placed the ice pack on his eyes. "what did you say?" you asked. "i told him that i have every right to the throne too and my mother interrupted us. if it wasn't for her, my father wouldn't allowed me too" he said.
"don't worry. you will get that title soon. you are slowly getting supporters. if you keep on doing what i'm telling you, you will gain more attention than jeongsan" you replied. "i'm so sorry" jungkook said as he rest his head on your chest. "for what?" you asked. "you have been helping me and i haven't done anything" he apologized and you shook your head. "don't be. you getting the title crown prince will be enough for me. miyeon and her family thinks jeongsan will be king but when they see the crown be place on your head that will be the best day for me" you smiled. "what if i make you my queen? don't you think that would be better?" jungkook suggested. "it would but i don't think i can handle being queen" you said. "nonsense! you're already doing an amazing job as vice president" he argued. "that's not what i meant, idiot" you flicked his forehead.
you sat down beside him and looked at the ceiling. "i know i would be an amazing queen but i don't like the fact that i have to follow rules if you know what i mean" you replied and he nods. "as king, i will ends those rules so you can live freely" jungkook said which made you laugh. "you really want to make me your queen huh?" you asked. "you're the only person i can trust my life with" he answered. "alright then" you crossed your arms. "if you managed to get at least 100,000 supporters without my help, then i will be your queen" you said. "really?" he asked with his big doe eyes. "i, (y/n), promise to be prince jungkook's queen if he succeeds in getting 100,000 people on his side alone" you swore. "you swore so you can't take it back" he said and you nodded. "since you're already here, we can head out to the place i was telling you about" you said getting up. "where?" the prince asked. "we're still teens. let's hang out" you smiled at him.

arriving at an arcade, when you step in to see mostly couples. jungkook takes your hand and drags you over to the racing game. "let's play. the loser has to grant the winner their wish, deal?" jungkook smiles. "if you think im idiot, im not. i suck at these type of games so you're gonna win" you said, crossing your arms. "i will give you a 30 second start" jungkook says. you sigh and take a seat. jungkook smiles and sits beside you. "im gonna fucking regret this" you mumble, making jungkook chuckle. and as predicted, you lost to him. you turn your head to face him, only to see that he was already staring at you. "what's your wish?" you asked. "promise me that you won't leave me alone. especially if jeongsan tries to convince you otherwise" he leans towards your face and holds your hands.
"i won't leave you. especially for jeongsan" you said. "thank you. oh! let's play this game" the prince drags you across the room. you stare at him as he was shooting the basketball into the hoop. your eyes then wander off towards and notice jeongsan with miyeon. you grabbed jungkook's hand which surprised him. "your brother is here" you whispered into his ear. jungkook looks around and stops his twin. "it's okay since i'm here with you" he answers. "hello (y/n). what are you doing here with my twin?" jeongsan asked as he walks over to you. "hello prince jeongsan. i wanted to take your twin out" you said. "are you two dating now?" he asked which made jungkook 's cheeks warm up. "we are, actually" you smiled as you held jungkook's hand tighter.
you could tell that prince jeongsan and miyeon were frustrated. "r-really?" jeongsan said and you nodded. "it was bound to happen since we have been together" you replied. "congrats to you guys. i wish you two happiness" jeongsan said yet the two of you knew he didn't mean it. "thanks, jeongsan" jungkook smiled. "oppa, im hungry? can we go eat?" miyeon pouts as she grabs onto his arm. "of course. (y/n), are you hungry too? i don't mind paying for more" jeongsan said yet you shook your head. "i'm fine. jungkook and i aren't hungry. you should continue on your date" you said. "alright. see you later" he waves goodbye. once they left the arcade, you sigh. "thank god they left. i really wasn't expecting him to talk to me" you said. "why did you lie about us dating?" jungkook asked. "didn't you see their faces? they looked piss" you said. "do you hate that i lie about being your girlfriend?" you asked.
"n-no! of course not!" jungkook yelled as he shakes his head.
"then let's date. after all, i did promise you to be your queen in the future"
