Chapter 9:Torture

1 month later, Under the soft glow of the moonlight filtering through the window, Yn and Boom Boom are cuddled together on the couch in the common room. The mansion is quiet, with most other residents having turned in for the night. Boom Boom rests her head on yn's shoulder, her fingers gently tracing patterns on his arm as they whisper.

"So," Boom Boom starts, her voice light but curious, "how's it going with Logan's training? I heard he's putting you through the wringer with all that discipline and fighting smart stuff."

yn chuckles softly, his arm tightening around her waist. "Yeah, he is. It's tough, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. The discipline part is still a challenge, though. Not exactly my strong suit, like I told him."

Boom Boom lifts her head to look at him, her eyes sparkling with affection and admiration. "Well, I'm proud of you, you know. It takes guts to stick with it, especially when it's something that doesn't come naturally to you."

Yn blushes slightly at her words, his usual tough exterior softening in her presence. "Thanks. It's just... it's different. Logan's trying to teach me more than just how to fight. He's showing me how to control my anger, and to think before I act. It's weird, but I think it's helping."

Boom Boom smiles, her hand coming up to cup his cheek. "That's because he sees potential in you,yn. And so do I. You're strong, and you've got a good heart, even if you like to hide it sometimes."

yn leans into her touch, his eyes softening as he looks at her. "You think so?"

She nods, her expression earnest. "I know so. And I know you're gonna be an amazing X-Man. You've already come so far, and I'm excited to see where you go from here."

He smiles, feeling a warmth spread through his chest at her words. "Thanks, Tabby. Having you around makes it easier, you know? You keep me grounded."

Boom Boom grins, leaning in to kiss his cheek. "Anytime, tough guy. I'm always here for you."

They settle back into their comfortable position, the quiet of the night wrapping around them like a blanket. Despite the challenges and uncertainties of the future, at this moment, everything feels right. And together, they know they can face whatever comes their way. As they continue to cuddle, Boom Boom's hand absentmindedly trails down yn's arm, eventually brushing against his torso. Her fingers trace the contours of his muscles, and she can't help but notice the defined lines of his six-pack. She raises an eyebrow and smirks, giving him a playful nudge.

"Dang, Yn," she says, her tone light and teasing. "When did you get all ripped? I mean, I knew you were strong, but you've been hiding a whole lot under those shirts."

Yn chuckles a hint of pride in his voice. "Yeah, I guess all that training with Logan has its perks. He pushes me hard, but it's paying off."

Boom Boom grins, her fingers continuing to explore the firm lines of his abs. "Well, it's working. You're like a living, breathing action figure."

Yn blushes slightly at her touch and her words, but he can't help the smile that spreads across his face. "Glad you approve. Maybe I should start working out shirtless more often."

She laughs, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "You know, I wouldn't complain. But seriously, you're doing great. All that hard work is showing."

He pulls her closer, enjoying the warmth of her body against his. "Thanks, Tabby. Your support means a lot to me. It makes all the tough training worth it."
