After the bears finally left, Kaede started to do that protagonist thing where she examines literally everything in the room. It got kinda boring in that room so I just sat at a random desk until Kaede finished. She must've finished quickly because, within a second of me sitting down, Kaede turned to Shuichi again and asked,
"Um.. are you an ultimate student too?" Shuichi seemed taken aback by that, but regardless told Kaede his name and went on his whole shpiel about not being worthy of being called "the ultimate detective". Kaede, the kind person she is, hyped him up and told him to, "Be more proud of his accomplishments".
During their whole conversation, I might've fallen asleep if it weren't for the looming thoughts over her head about my family and body at home, wherever that is now I guess. Do I serve a purpose here? How am I even here by the way? I might need to find one of those weird bears and talk to them.
"Ah... um, y/n was it? Did you ever introduce yourself?" Shuichi's anxious voice snapped me out of my thoughts and made me stop zoning out.
"Oh yeah, I guess I didn't hmm?" I got out of my chair and stood up proudly. "I'm y/n l/n and my ultimate is- um..." I paused, "My ultimate is..."
Dammit, y/n come up with something! You could say a random one, but what if you have an ultimate lab that says otherwise? JUST PULL A RANTARO!!!
"So um.. this might sound weird, but I can't seem to remember it at the moment.. haha."
"You can't... remember?" Shuichi seemed a little skeptical. Kaede on the other hand, hit his arm and exclaimed,
"Shuichi don't be mean! we can't even remember how we got here, maybe she has more memory loss than us!" Thank god for Kaede man, I don't think I could lie more to Shuichi without him finding out-
shoot, I still have to get through Rantaro and Kokichi with this...
I added, "Yeah haha. I mean I feel like I have one, but it just isn't coming to my mind at the moment." Hopefully, this can sell it, at least for now until I can find one of those bears, or see my room (If I even have one).
"Maybe we should leave the room and try to find the other people those stuffed animals said were around." I half-begged, I just wanted their attention off of me for now.
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea!" Kaede exclaimed. After that we left the room one by one; Kaede first, and Shuichi close behind. I stopped for a second telling the two to go on without me. I still needed to ask the kubs a question. As soon as I was sure they were far enough away, I yelled out for the MonoKubs.
"HEY YOU WEIRD BEARS! I NEED TO ASK YOU SOMETHING!" It took a couple seconds but sure enough,
"RISE AND SHINE URSINE"
"HEY WAIT! wEIRD??" monokid yelled loudly, much to my dismay.
"yeah you look weird- whatever that's beside the point. What the hell am I doing here?!"
"Well... um... we don't really know," Monotaro said, apparently the 'leader' of the group
"Yeah, you bastard messed up our script!" the yellow one barked. God I hate him.
"Do I even have a room? Or an Ultimate for that matter?" I really hope they say yes, I can't deal to room with someone else here.
This time monophanie spoke up, "Luckily, we had one built for you just in time! but for your ultimate..." After she trailed off, they huddled together and started whispering. I couldn't make out anything but I assumed they were talking about how I messed up their whole world. Not my fault by the way! 2 minutes later, they turned back to me and the yellow one said,
"Since youse bastard messed up our perfect script, you'll just have to wait for Father to answer your second question!" seriously. can't even get ONE thing answered around here UGHHHHHHH!!!! I HATE these stupid bears.
"Fine, whatever. Just get out of here. I can't stand to look at you for any longer"
SO LONG! BEAR WELL!
"Finally jeez." After that interaction, I just needed to sit down for a bit. I must've been in this claustrophobic room for too long because as soon as I sat down, the door opened and someone walked in. "GOD DAMMIT CAN I NOT GET A MOMENT OF PEAC-" but when I turned around...
"Oh sorry, didn't know I was such a nuisance"
An: DUN DUN DUN.... who is it??
