"Doctor Mitchell, could please sign the release papers for Mr Mayer before you finish your shift?" The Nurse asks me as I sit in the dictating room to record the reports of my last surgery

"Yeah sure, just put them in my drawer, I'll put them with the Patients file before I head out" I tell the nurse

"Alright thank you, enjoy the weekend off" the nurse says and I smile at her and say thank you before she walks out of the room again.

I finish writing the report and sign it off before I print it out to put it in the Surgery folder.

I quickly sign the release papers for Mr Mayer and my phone starts ringing.

"Doctor Mitchell, how can I help you?" I say as I answer the call

"Do you have some time to quickly look at a patient in the ER? You're the fifth person im trying to reach, everyone else is in surgery or prepping for one" the Emergency room nurse says

"Yeah, I can come by real quickly. Can you already give me information on the patient?" I ask him

"23 year old male, complaining about some pain in his lower leg after a 'racing incident' honestly I don't know what kind of racing could cause this" the Nurse tells me

"So possible fracture or damage to a nerve or muscle?" I guess while I pack my bag so I can head out after I looked at the patient

"Possibly"

"Well I will be there in a minute" I say, hanging up and hand the Nurse the release papers and walk downstairs toward the ER

Before I get to the ER my phone rings again, its the next shift

"Hello?" I say

"Where are you to give us an update on the patients status?" He asks me

"Im on the way to the ER, I signed Mr Mayer's release, we had to operate a Distal Radius fracture tonight and I already finished the report. The Patients are all stable and no change since yesterday other then Mrs Green, I put her in some antibiotics since she was showing signs of an infection" I tell him

"Okay, thank you. Then I will see you next week" he says and hangs up and I get to the ER

"Which patient did you need me to take a look at?" I ask the Nurse and he points to the treatment room right next to me

"His file is on the desk"

"Great thank you" I say and walk into the Room

"Hello, I'm Doctor Mitchell. Im supposed to take a look at your wound" I introduce myself and the patient turns around to look at me and I instantly recognise him

"Arthur?" I say shocked seeing Charles little brother sitting with his leg and foot up on the the chair next to him

"No way, Nick this is just coincidence" he laughs and I sit down at the desk, opposite of him

"What happened?" I ask him pointing to his foot and read through the notes they wrote in the Triage

"I hit a wall in Practice yesterday and I thought I sprained my ankle but yeah, it doesn't really look like a sprained ankle anymore" he says and shows me his leg which is completely covered in bruises

"Thats a nasty hematoma, mind if I take a quick look?" I say and put on some gloves and kneel down infront of the chair with his leg on its

"I'm gonna quickly feel if I can feel a fracture" I say and I press around on the bruise softly, Arthur groans in slightly in pain as I do so

"I can't really feel anything, it is quite swollen, I will get you an MRI to sort out a broken ankle" I say and take off my gloves and sanitise my hands before ordering the MRI on the Hospitals software
