23. Planning ahead

"You two seemed to get along" Arthur says as Carrie leaves us to call one of her friends

"She reminds me a lot of Kara, she also gave me and Idea" I respond and grab Arthurs wrist and drag him out of the garage, away from everyone as we sneak between the motorhomes until we find a place completely isolated from everyone

"What is going on?" Arthur asks me "Im all for sneaking around but is there any reason for this?"

"Just stay quiet" I say and take out my phone and start writing in the notes, Arthur moves to stand behind me, looking over my shoulder as I start typing

"A bucket list?" He asks me confused

"Since were already sneaking around, we might as well make it interesting" I chuckle and write being tied up instantly checking it off

"Careful what you say Art, that horrible person will most likely take care of that tonight" I chuckle and pat his shoulder playfully

"Youre not playing fair" He groans

"I never intended to do so" I smirk "we should get back to the garage, FP1 should be done soon" I tell him looking at the time

"Right, you're definitely gonna regret the teasing later" he chuckles as we walk back to the Ferrari garage

"Hi Carrie! Sorry we had to discuss something real quick" I say knowing that she knows about me and Arthur but keeping it secret from Arthur

"Don't worry, you missed the red flag, they stopped the practice early, Charles was already looking for you two" she responds giving me a look

"Oh red flag what happened?" I ask

"Logan and Magnussen made contract and crashed, they're both okay tho" She tells us and we see the replay on the screen

"What did my brother want?" Arthur asks Carrie

"Oh him and Carlos wanted to go out for dinner tonight, with the three of us" she tells us

"Oh, here hold my phone real quick. I will quickly tell him were gonna join him" Arthur says, knowing that phones aren't allowed past the visitors area to keep their Data and upgrades hidden from the public

"Okay" I say and take his phone

"Released a little tension?" Carrie asks jokingly

"No, made the tension worse" I respond and her eyes widen

"Oh- I see"

"Anyways, dinner tonight. Im assuming you're getting ready in Carlos' room?" I ask

"Yeah but we can get ready together if you want, you know I could help you pick clothes that Arthur will just rip off of you once you get back" she says teasing me with the secret she knows and I just chuckle

"Great, I will return the favour. Our boys wont be able to keep their eyes off of us" I respond confidently while looking at Arthur talking to Charles, his smile always makes my heart melt

Music starts playing over the speakers across the track during the small break before the f2 drivers get on the track

"God I love this song" Carrie says as slow it down starts playing

"Its a good song, its constantly on the radio in Monaco" I respond

"Its insane that he and Max are Married" Carrie says and I look confused since I don't really follow the gossip

"Wait Max and the guy who sings this?" I say shocked and she nods her head

"Didn't you see them all over the news? It was last season in Singapore when Max got Pole he kissed him infront of the cameras and it like changed everything around the sport" she tells me

"Wait that is the same guy that sings this? I heard about that but I didn't exactly know who that guy was"

"No im pretty sure it's him, he's on his world tour at the moment, one of my friends wont shut up about his music. He still attends some races if they line up with his schedule which they do ... suspiciously often my friend says at least, he's a mad shipper of Max and Dylan" she tells me

"Thats interesting, but quite adorable" I say

"He is convinced they set the tour dates to match the race calendar as well"

"Okay thats insane" I laugh and hold out Arthurs phone as he walks back to us

"Well, try telling my friend that" she laughs

"What are you two talking about?" Arthur asks as he joins us again, taking back his phone

"Carrie got this friend who is obsessed with Max and whats his name?"

"Dylan" carrie helps me out

"Yeah Max and Dylans relationship and hes going a bit insane apparently" I chuckle and Arthur just gives me a not so convincing smile

"Oh yeah, thats insane" he responds not even trying to match our energy
