Lost But Was It Found?

KIA'S POV

Ivy pushed me through the terrace doors telling me to grow up. I couldn’t agree more, here I was worrying over nothing but now that I knew that Ivy wasn’t the one waiting for me I was really worried, I wasn’t ready to face  him yet. 

No matter how beautiful the letter was, I still was not in the mood to accept my feelings or respond to whatever he says. Hell, I didn’t even know if I wanted to accept his apology, not because I am a meanie who likes making people beg but because I don’t understand what right do I have to be angry over such a small thing.

I reached the center of the terrace while I was so into in my own thoughts and stood on the small circle made on the floor.

Suddenly the place was filled with light and all I could see were balloons, so many pink and white balloons, all floating mid air. The view was spectacular with small twinkling lights all over the terrace and a small table near me with a beautiful cake which said “sorry”.

 ‘oh man, here goes my anger’, I couldn’t help but smile at all the efforts put in to make me happy.

‘Ivy is in so much trouble’, I thought.

And then I spotted Eden with a white rose in his hand walking towards me, “Kia, I am very sorry please accept my apology”, he said with his sweet smile.

How could I not smile to such an angel? And so I did what proved to be my first mistake, I smiled back and accepted the rose. His whole demeanor changed, those beautiful blue eyes now shone even more brightly.

EDEN’S POV

I was so happy that I could have danced all over the terrace right then. God knows what made me so happy but Kia was no longer angry with me and I couldn’t be happier. I turned around and signaled our friends to come out from the shadows.

They all came out clapping and commenting on how they would beat us if we took more time to settle down. We then sat down and called for the waiters to arrange for the wine. Kia, ivy and Reese were talking animatedly while Jacob and Stan go the extra chairs. I turned around and found Troy staring at me with a weird look on his face.

He then motioned about talking later and came over to the table. I agreed but was worried for what he wanted to talk to me about, the last time he had this look was when the whole school knew about me wanting to dump my ex-girlfriend Abigail while she was clueless about it. Let’s just say the scene that followed during the lunch break was not what I was aiming at and is definitely not something the school would forget anytime soon.

 How easy was it to forget a steamy argument in the middle of the cafeteria followed by an angry slap and a huge food fight which was entirely blamed on me.

But that look on Troy’s face came when he knew I would hurt Abigail and he couldn’t do anything to stop it. Was he thinking I would hurt Kia too? If he was then he’s certainly wrong, I would never hurt her, I do like her more than I have liked anyone else in the past. Don’t I?

“Dude stop being a pansy and stop asking me so many questions, if you can’t notice I am too bored with talking to you and so I am on a break, be a man and stop doubting yourself so much. And do not disturb” said my super amazing inner voice which I had though had vanished, but clearly not.

The next day we all got up late courtesy to the ‘all nighters’ we pulled with the never ending wine glasses and the delicious cake. It was a really fun time and ignoring the protests of Reese and Ivy, Kia asked sienna to join us. It was a little awkward in the beginning but eventually we all had a blast with all the twilight jokes aimed at Jacob (which never seem to get boring) and all the dumb dares given by Haden and Stan. I sometimes think these two could either be twins or considering how good their rapport is they could be (god forbid) lovers.

 With so much drama here in Sorrento it was difficult to believe we were here just since the last twenty four hours. To say that there was utter chaos in all our rooms would have been an understatement, we were all behind schedule and had to hurry up to catch the booked ferry to Capri. 

With two minutes to spare we finally caught the ferry. There were three other families with us on the boat who looked at us like we were on a run from the police or something, clothes all falling, we looked way less than presentable and I even noticed one of the mother’s pulling her five year old son away from Stan when he tried to shake his hand.

Ha Ha that was a hilarious scene.

We finally got settled and I looked over a Kia to find her already talking to the other ladies on board with a small girl about seven sitting on her lap playing with the frills on her dress.

“Doesn’t she look amazing? Even with an annoying child on her lap she looks perfect”, I was shocked for a moment at my thought but I couldn’t help but agree with it.

KIA’S POV

“I like you, will you be my friend?” I heard the little boy asking Eden, who was sitting across from me.

“What is it that you like about me?” Eden smirked

‘Boys’, I thought but smiled at the cute pout the boy made pretending to be in a deep though.

“I like you because you are not even talking to anyone here but still the pretty girls are all looking at you and talking about you, I want to learn how do you do that, I am Brent by the way, you can call me B”, he little guy replied.

To say I was shocked at the child’s words would have been an understatement. I looked at Eden to see him mimicking my shocked expression but he quickly recovered and had a huge smile on his face.

“Now now I see you have come at the right place son, you are surely on the right track”, Eden replied, while I looked around to spot either of the boy’s parents to warn them about what their boy would learn today. I shook my head when I couldn’t find anyone and prayed that the child wouldn’t learn much today.

Thanks for sticking by me...What all will Eden teach the naughty Brent?  Will he be the little angel who has the key for Eden to Kia's heart. Also, Stan and Hayden and Reese and Troy, it seems there are more secrets than Eden and Kia care to notice.
