Lost But Was It Found?

chapter 9

*author's note*

the reason that I am writing in both Eden and Kia's POV is because my story is not only a love at first sight story, it is beyond this trip and has a lot more to it, hence revealing what they feel will not make much difference, although if it makes the story less 'mysterious', I will definitely try and work on it..:)

EDEN'S POV

The club at The Bellevue Syrene was what could be called, HAPPENING...The crowd was amazing, and the loud music blaring through the speakers could make even a person with ‘two left feet’ dance. As we entered we went straight to the bar, while I came to know that Kia doesn’t drink, I realized Siena and the others were totally up for it,

“You sure you don’t mind?” I asked Kia,

“Of course not, carry on", she replied.

 Taking this as the green signal we ordered for tequila and vodka shots for Siena, Ivy ,Stan and myself while Haden and Jacob were happy with their Corona’s. Reese and Troy decided to give Kia company by having mock tails as Reese wasn’t feeling upto it and Troy,

Ha-ha well, Troy was maybe the first guy you would have come across, who hated alcohol..like seriously?,

‘ha-ha and he went around telling people he was alcohol intolerant, when in reality he couldn’t stand the taste of it', said my thought, yes it is still with me, my other part as I call it now. 

 We downed three shots of each type back to back and I could then feel the groove of the music in me, the loud sound was very welcoming and I found myself making way towards the dance floor, I saw Kia looking at me with a concerned expression and I smiled back to let her know that everything was fine and under control.I could feel  the alcohol burning down my throat, and surprisingly it felt good.

 Kia and Reese soon made their way towards the dance floor where they were immediately the center of attention of all guys, I scowled at the way some guys were checking Kia out and went closer to the two of them,putting a hand protectively around Kia’s back, she smiled and we began dancing together.

Soon enough Ivy and Troy joined us. They kept saying something in each other’s ears and giggled the whole time they danced, what was so funny? I thought,

‘don’t be a dumbass now, you obviously know what is it that two tipsy people talk about and giggle when both are of the opposite sex’, oh yes, I grinned.

 I decided it was time for more shots and once again we were gathered around the bar, with each shot down and each pint of beer getting into my system I felt lighter. The club had weird sayings written on a wall across the bar, which were so funny, like-

Man who drop watch in toilet have shitty time.

I mean why write this in a club? One even read-

War does not determine who is right, war determine who is left... And this saying pointed towards the exit of the club

O.k., this still makes a little sense, ‘not some sense big man, a lot of sense’ said my other part.

Bleh.

 Anyways, I turned around to look for Kia and couldn’t see her anywhere.

“Looking for her?" asked a voice in my ear, I couldn’t place, and so I turned around to see Siena standing very close to me. I put a little space between us and replied.

"Yea, who else? I guess there’s some force in her which attracts me towards her." I smiled as I thought about her.

“But why?" she asked,

“What does she have in her, that a hot hunk like yourself is attracted to her, I mean face it she isn’t even extraordinarily pretty. Just a plain, shy girl”, she continued,

I could now see a little jealousy in her eyes,

“Right from the first day I saw you, you have been on my mind Eden, all the time, why don’t you notice me?, and accept  it I am way hotter than what Kia can ever be." she said.

 My head was spinning a little,

’ why is this girl saying things about Kia?’ asked my thought, no idea I thought back.

See even in this drunken state I could talk back to my thoughts but not realise what that pouty lipped girl was saying. Hmm she does have amazing lips, now that they were up close,

‘what are you thinking about?’ chastised my thought. ‘Don’t you dare lose your focus, that girl is nothing but trouble, being Kia’s friend and acting like this behind her back.'

 “Where are you lost honey?” asked Siena, who was so close to me now that with a little movement our bodies would touch. Whoa what am I thinking? I thought,

“Common, I know you want it as much as I do?" she asked smiling a little, I turned my head and saw Kia,

my Kia,

my beautiful Kia,

hugging some guy,

WHAT?

Who was that guy?,

‘don’t get so possessive might be some old friend’ my thought said,

Yea right a friend who is now checking her out and making her giggle, I thought back.

 Siena followed my gaze and smiled, ”Oh so you see her now?”, she asked,

“getting cozy with other boys while you are not around?, even now she attracts you?", she asked me while coming closer once again, and this time as I saw her all I could see were those pouty lips,

’ don’t do it Eden’, my thoughts tried stopping me, but I wasn’t the one to listen now, all I could think about was how would those lips feel on my own.

 After about an eternity or fifteen minutes as I later realized, I broke away from Siena after a hot and heavy make out session. If possible my head felt even lighter and somewhere in the back of my mind I was getting this feeling that something was terribly wrong.

 I looked around to see Kia who turned towards me before walking out of the club, tears in her eyes.

 Oh shit, what had I done?

‘I told you to control your horny self mister, now you are in some deep shit’,

not now please I thought to my other part. I had to think, what I could do now.

So who hates Eden right now? But more than him who wants to rip Siena apart? I know I do. But sometimes things aren’t in our control they say…
