Taehyung's POV
As the days passed, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was different.
My appetite had increased, and strangely enough, I found myself craving Jungkook's favorite foods.
I was always tired, easily exhausted by even the simplest tasks, and I found myself getting annoyed over the smallest things.
Worst of all, I couldn't keep anything down—I was constantly nauseous, feeling sick after every meal.
I confided in Jin hyung, telling him about my symptoms and worries. He listened attentively, his expression thoughtful as he considered my words.
"Tae, I think you should see the pack healer," he finally said, his tone gentle yet firm. "It could be something serious, and you shouldn't ignore it."
I nodded, grateful for his advice, but I hesitated to tell Jungkook—I didn't want to worry him, especially with the recent rogue attacks near the pack border. He had enough on his plate already.
One morning, when Jungkook was busy with pack duties, I slipped away to see the healer on my own.
The healer, a kind and wise elder named Sun-hee, welcomed me with a warm smile, sensing my anxiety.
As she examined me carefully, her brow furrowed in concern as she performed various tests.
The minutes felt like hours, each one filled with growing apprehension. Finally, she looked up, her eyes filled with a mix of surprise and joy.
"Congratulations, Luna," she said gently, her voice filled with warmth and understanding. "You're pregnant—about two months along, by my estimation."
I blinked in shock, my mind reeling with disbelief. Pregnant? How was that possible? And why hadn't I known sooner?
Sensing my confusion, Sun-hee explained patiently. "Sometimes, omegas don't realize they're pregnant right away. It's common for the symptoms to be subtle, especially in the early stages. But your body knows—it's been nurturing your child since the moment of conception."
I took a moment to absorb her words, feeling a rush of emotions—joy, fear, excitement, and a touch of apprehension.
Tears welled up in my eyes as the reality of the situation sank in.
I was going to be a parent, and Jungkook was going to be a father. It was both thrilling and terrifying all at once.
Sun-hee placed a comforting hand on my shoulder, her eyes kind.
"You will be a wonderful parent, luna Jeon. And Head Alpha will be a great father. This child is a blessing for both of you and the entire pack."
With a newfound sense of determination and hope, I left the healer's hut, clutching the news close to my heart.
As I walked through the pack grounds, I couldn't help but smile, imagining the joy and wonder on Jungkook's face when he learned that we were going to have a family.
When I returned home, Jungkook was still busy with pack duties and was not at home at the moment.
I waited patiently, my heart pounding with anticipation.
