Jungkook's POV

As we arrive at the pack house, the sun is setting, casting a warm glow over the grounds.

It was around 4 in the evening asthe wedding took place in day light.

The sky is painted with hues of orange and pink, creating a serene backdrop that enhances the beauty of our home.

It’s peaceful here, a sanctuary that I hope will become a safe haven for us both.

My friends had thoughtfully left us alone for a few days to give us privacy, a gesture I deeply appreciate.

They know how important this moment is for us. I help Taehyung out of the car, holding his hand gently. He looks around, his eyes wide with wonder and a touch of apprehension.

Cute.

The pack house looms large before us, its sturdy walls and welcoming aura promising safety and comfort.

"Welcome home," I say softly, leading him inside. The interior is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and the faint scent of pine.

I can feel Taehyung's nervousness, so I squeeze his hand reassuringly.

We walk through the halls, and I show him around briefly—the living room, the kitchen, and finally, our bedroom.

"This is where we'll be staying," I tell him. The room is spacious, with a large bed covered in soft linens, a fireplace crackling gently in the corner, and large windows that let in the last light of the day.

Taehyung looks around, his eyes taking in every detail.

"It's beautiful," he whispers, and I can see a hint of a smile on his lips. "I'm glad you like it," I reply, feeling a sense of relief. "I want you to feel at home here."

He nods, and for a moment, we just stand there, the silence between us comfortable.

Then I notice a sadness in his expression, and various negative thoughts start to strike my mind.

What if he was forced or didn't want to marry me?

I step closer to him, cupping his face gently in order to comfort him. "Are you okay?" I ask, my voice soft.

He looks up at me, his eyes shining with unshed tears, making me worried. "I am," he says, his voice trembling slightly. "It's just... I miss my parents."

His words make me feel a relief like I got my soul back. For once, I thought I would die alone, but now I want to live forever and keep looking into his beautiful orbs.

"I understand," I say, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to his forehead. "Take your time. We have all the time in the world."

He smiles then, a real smile that lights up his face. "Thank you, Alpha."

My wolf howls in happiness as our mate calls him Alpha.

He wants to take control, but I stop him somehow.

I lead Taehyung to the bed, and we sit down, side by side, our bodies touching slightly.

The warmth from the fireplace washes over us, creating a cocoon of comfort.

We sit together, but I want to hold him in my arms. I want to know what it feels like to finally have my mate in my arms.

I look at him, sitting with his eyelashes lowered, staring at the carpet.

I put my hand on his after thinking a lot, as I don’t want him to feel uncomfortable with me.

I observe his beautiful face for any sign of discomfort, but I find none.
