After 5 years

The pack house was filled with the comforting sounds of family life.

Jungkook lounged in the drawing room, a warm smile on his face as he watched Taehyung move around the kitchen.

Though he was still a bit upset about not getting enough alone time with his mate due to their pups always sticking to Taehyung like koalas, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of affection for the bustling scene before him.

The rich, familiar aroma of spices filled the air, bringing a sense of contentment and nostalgia.

Jungkook's sons, now energetic seven-year-olds, were playing with their toys nearby, their laughter echoing through the house.

Every now and then, they glanced towards the kitchen, their curiosity piqued by the delicious smells wafting from the stove.

"Mama, what are you cooking?" one of the pups called out, peeking around the corner.

Taehyung turned with a smile, his apron dusted with flour. "I'm making your Dada's favorite dish tonight," he replied, stirring a pot on the stove.

Jungkook chuckled hearing his words, leaning back in his chair as Taehyung couldn't see his face from the kitchen.

He knew Taehyung was trying to coax him after their little fight last night, but he wanted him to pamper him a little more, so he decided to not give in easily.

He was hungry for love and he would get it.

The pups groaned in unison, their faces scrunching up in distaste. "But Mama," the other pup whined, "we don't like it when it's too spicy! Can you make our favorite instead of Appa's favorite?"

Taehyung shook his head, his eyes twinkling with nervousness as he tried to catch a glimpse of Jungkook, who had turned his head away, facing the TV.

"Sorry, little ones. We don't have the ingredients for your favorite dish today. But I promise, I'll make it for you tomorrow. Tonight, please eat this only and later at night we will have your favourite ice cream together."

Though the pups loved to eat the dish, they didn't want to show it as they glared at their father who raised his eyebrows at them.

" Brats"

They were just little copies of Jungkook, from head to toe and in every manner from food to possiveness.

They sulked a little but still nodded their heads and began to play in the drawing room again.

Jungkook seized the opportunity to tease his sons just the same way they teased him.

"See that, boys? Your Mama loves me more," he said, his voice dripping with playful mischief.

The pups' eyes widened, their expressions turning protective. "That's not true!" they protested in unison. "Mama loves us more!"

"Then why is he not cooking your favorite but mine?" Jungkook teased.

Jungwoo, ever the quick thinker, said, "Cuz Mama doesn't have the ingredients to make it, that's why," making Jungsoo nod in agreement.

"Pftt ,Then don't believe me because that's the truth. Your Mama likes me more," Jungkook teased further, a playful glint in his eyes.

Their lips wobbled as they were about to cry, making Jungkook panic.

He knew if they started crying, they won't stop crying at all.
