Taehyung's POV
The pain came on suddenly, like a tidal wave crashing over me, leaving me breathless and reeling.
I clutched at my swollen belly, my breaths coming in shallow gasps as the intensity of the contractions washed over me.
"Jungkook," I gasped, my voice strained with agony. "It's time. We need to go to the pack doctor."
Jungkook's eyes widened with alarm as he took in my haggard appearance, his hands shaking slightly as he reached out to steady me.
"Tae, it's okay," he said, his voice filled with concern and a tinge of panic. "I'm here. Take a deep breath."
I nodded weakly, my body trembling with the force of each contraction.
Jungkook guided me gently to our waiting car, his movements efficient and determined despite the fear I saw in his eyes.
He helped me into the passenger seat, his hands steady and reassuring as he buckled me in.
"It's going to be alright, Tae," he murmured, brushing a strand of hair from my forehead before closing the door.
He quickly rounded the car, slipping into the driver's seat with a newfound urgency.
As we sped through the darkened streets, the pain intensified, gripping me in its merciless embrace.
I squeezed Jungkook's hand tightly, seeking solace in his touch as we raced towards help.
"You're doing great, Tae," he said, his voice a steady anchor amidst the chaos. "We're almost there. Just keep breathing."
I focused on his voice, letting it guide me through the waves of pain. Every word was a lifeline, grounding me in the moment and reminding me that I wasn't alone.
The drive felt like an eternity, but finally, the pack doctor's clinic came into view.
Jungkook pulled up to the entrance, rushing out of the car to help me. His movements were swift and careful as he supported me, his arms strong and unwavering.
The doctor and nurses were already waiting, their faces a blur of concern and urgency.
Jungkook stayed by my side, his presence a constant source of comfort as they guided me into the clinic.
"You're doing so well, Tae," he whispered, his voice breaking slightly with emotion. "I'm so proud of you."
I managed a weak smile, finding strength in his words. The contractions were relentless, but with Jungkook beside me, I felt a glimmer of hope.
The pack doctor took over, her calm demeanor a stark contrast to the storm of pain I was enduring.
"Breathe, Taehyung," she instructed gently. "You're in good hands. We'll take care of you and your baby."
Jungkook never let go of my hand, his grip firm and reassuring. "I'm right here, love," he said softly. "We're in this together."
As the doctor and nurses worked, I clung to Jungkook's hand, drawing strength from his unwavering support.
The pain was still there, but his presence made it bearable. He was my rock, my anchor in the storm.
