in which

colt seavers (ryan gosling) thinks he's in love with jody moreno (emily blunt). when in reality it's jody's sister jaylee moreno (sabrina carpenter) who's liked colt as more than a friend ever since she can remember.

when colt suddenly appears after being missing he gets dragged into some shady business. he's only a stunt man so no one will notice he's gone on set.

luckily for him jaylee's a stunt woman. so of course she's going to tag along for the ride.
