the two woke up, somehow colt had ended up on the floor.

"did you kick me off the bed?" he said sitting up in disbelief.

"maybe you were snoring and my sleep self realized that that was a bitch-ass thing to do and solved the problem."

"there is no way i snore." he stated

"whatever you say colt. we need to hurry up and get ready."

as colt redressed in his alien suit jaylee went to the bathroom to get dressed. when she walked out she watched as colt struggled to reach the alien head due to the aliens stubby body.

jaylee laughed walking over and lifted up the alien head for him. colt smiled as jaylee held the head in one hand and colt cheek in the other.

she leaned in kissing him, only a faint taste of gas remaining. she pulled back with a grimace towards the taste making colt chuckle.

"good luck. please don't hurt yourself, i believe in you." jaylee said placing the alien head on colt's, completing his disguise.

it was late in the afternoon, colt was in his position as jody talked to gale about tom ryder's performance.

jaylee had a smirk on her face, knowing the events to come, as gale trotted up to ryder.

"focus on the bombastic monologue, smashed it." she said in her fake ass posh accent.

jaylee scoffed and rolled her eyes. quickly fixing her face she jogged over beside jody wrapping her arm around her shoulder as they both approached gail and ryder.

"we've learned so much from you gail." jaylee says.

"the lesson that stays with us is, when you get knocked down, pick yourself up." jody said with a fake smile.

"you're finishing the movie." gail says with a smile.

the scene starts with ryder on top of a car giving the aliens a pep talk.

"our most powerful weapon is love" he shouts, "in each one of you is an ember, a spark, a fire, love is how we will win."

the aliens cheered as jody yelled cut and approached gail, ryder already standing with her having had jogged over.

"end truck coverage." jody said

"we can do it in VFX?" gail suggested, to which jody shook her head. jaylee approached the group once more, having been eavesdropping.

" we need his face, space cowboy just stole the alien vehicle you remember that?" jody asked

"this isn't necessary." tom hastily said nervousness dripping from his being.

"this is your moment, of course it's necessary!" jaylee said mocking excitement with her arm around his shoulder, an unnoticeable grimace of disgust planted on her face upon the contact.

"i'm not going to be driving, I'm gonna get nauseous." tom said, his words fallen upon deaf ears.

"entirely blue screen set up." jody said trying to get gail's approval.

"there's not going to be any driving, I'm gonna get nauseous." tom said turning to jaylee beside him with fear painting his facial features. "this isn't necessary." he tried once more.

jody then turned to tom with a smile on her face. "it's because you escaped the aliens , raise the stakes!" she exclaimed.

ryder hesitated before finally giving in "sounds cool, raise the stakes." he said trying to reassure himself.

on his way in the car ryder was babbling about nonsense.

"what if I said something like, I was shooting aliens before I was paid to." he asked.

jaylee rolled her eyes but smiled and nodded anyway, shutting the door behind ryder.

"action!" jody yelled

the car started "running" in front of the green screen.

"approaching the ravine, turn, gonna have to jump the gap." jody said narrating for tom to get in character a bit better like she normally would.

that's when colt came in his suit on, he opened the driver side door. to which ryder hadn't even noticed he was in the passenger seat due to the fake steering wheel.

"we're in the middle of a take asshole" ryder shouted at colt, who just continued getting in the car. he buckled his seatbelt and put the real steering wheel into its place.

jaylee walked up to the passenger side "just buckling you in, safety first!" she said happily to ryder.

"little tight, we are filming, get out
howdy?" he asked in confusion and fear.

"oh no we're filming something so much better!" jaylee winked at colt and patted ryder's shoulder, "have fun boys, play nice!" and with that she walked off towards jaylee and gail to observe.
