Right Here Waiting ~Bucky Barnes Love Story~

Last night was a great night and I wouldn't have it any other way. Anyway I got out of the shower grabbing a towel wrapping the towel around my body. I looked to where I normally put my clean clothes seeing that I forgot to grab some. I sighed looking towards the bathroom door deciding fuck it because he's already seen me naked. I walked out of the bathroom seeing Bucky still sleeping I went up to the dresser picking out a few pieces of clothing to wear. I dropped the towel to the floor putting on my bra then my underwear as I went to grab my top I heard a sneeze causing me to jump and look the direction the sneeze came from. I saw Bucky was awake I sighed grabbing my top and putting it on. "I didn't know you were awake." I shrugged then putting my pants on "I woke up awhile ago I just wanna wake you." I grabbed socks from the dresser going to sit down on the bed to put them on. I felt him move around as I put my socks on then I felt him touch my back. I turned to face him I leaned in giving him a kiss then pulled away. We smiled at each other before he got up going towards the bathroom. I sighed getting off the bed grabbing my shoes, my phone and my bag yelling towards the bathroom saying I was going out with Peggy. I heard a light okay before I left the bedroom. I met Peggy down in the kitchen she had our coffee poured and some French toast on our plates. I thanked her before I took a sip of my coffee then I took a bite out of the French toast. After we were done breakfast Peggy and I went down to the garage. I managed to get a key to one of Tony's many cars it happened to be the which is a really nice car. We got into the car me driving of course I started the car up then put my seatbelt on. I put the car in drive then drove out of the garage and drove down the long ass driveway. After leaving the driveway I drove towards the city with a happy face. I looked over towards Peggy for a second then put my eyes back on the road "you okay there Peggy?" I heard her sigh then she finally spoke up.

"I was just thinking about how Steve is very protective." I shook my head at that "well of course he is." She smacked my arm a little hard it left a stinging feeling "all I'm saying is he loves you and never got the chance to do it in the 40's."

I was driving a little fast but it didn't phase me "I know that but still." Maybe I should get Bucky to talk to Steve about it then again I shouldn't be meddling in other people's love life unless it's my own. "Why are you driving so fast?" I smiled at that question bumping up the speed a little then drove around the car that was in front of us "because I love to drive fast." We drove for awhile longer until finally we reached the city I drove towards downtown "isn't downtown busy at this time?" I nodded my head yeah as I said yeah "but it gets a lot worse at lunch and dinner time." We reached downtown I found a parking spot and parked the car. "Look if you want talk to Steve about it." She just looked out the windshield not saying a word so I spoke up again "maybe it'll be a lot better coming from you just be honest Peggy." She looked at me with a sad face before smiling at me I smiled back at her "maybe you are right." We hugged before we got out of the car I locked the car then we went walking around downtown just checking out things. I showed Peggy around pointing out a lot of things. About an hour later we reached Time Square Peggy was amazed by all the screens promoting different things. It was so amazing getting to know Peggy a little differently she has this personality that is just amazing I can see one of the reasons why Steve wasn't able to let her go and why he loves her so much.

By the time we got back to the car it was late afternoon and dad was blowing up my phone by calling then sending text messages asking why I wasn't answering his calls I just chose to ignore it. We get into the car buckling ourselves in then I started the car up. "Well that was fun today." I agreed with Peggy putting the car in drive then pulling out of the parking space I looked at the screen in the middle where we can control radio and phone calls seeing it was 3:00 "we're gonna be a little late for dinner." I started driving towards the compound speeding a little with the hope of not being pulled over because it was the last thing I need and Tony would yell at me for getting a ticket. As we drove towards the compound Peggy was trying to figure out how to turn the radio on so I took one of my hands off the wheel tapping the screen finding a station that played songs from 1905 to 1953. After I was done with that I put my hand back on the wheel keeping my eyes on the road. When we got to the compound I parked the car turning it off then we got out. We went up to the dining area seeing the team was already waiting for us with chicken from Popeye's yummy. I sat down next to Bucky grabbing a plate as I said sorry for being late. We all started digging into the food passing it around so that way everyone got what they wanted. We started talking about anything that we wanted to talk about until dinner was over. When dinner was over Bucky and Steve went to the training room while Peggy and I went to watch tv in the living room. We watched tv until it was almost midnight we didn't even notice when Friday told us that Steve and Bucky they were done training. I turned the tv off then took our cups to the kitchen putting them in the sink. I told Peggy goodnight then headed to Bucky and I's room seeing Bucky sleeping. I quickly got changed into a sports bra and oversized t-shirt joining Bucky in bed. I covered myself then rolled over to face Bucky he looked so peaceful when he sleeps. All of his worries seemed to be gone for the time being I couldn't help but smile as I stared at him. I sighed closing my eyes letting sleep take over and just shutting the world out for a few hours.
