Kay appeared back into the party after being gone for almost an hour, she looked pissed about something when she returned to the party. I knew I should go ask what was wrong but I knew she wouldn't tell me while the party was going on. She was chatting with Sohinki and Lasercorn about something because now she was laughing again, I could tell it was still bothering her but she didn't want to make it obvious. I went to grab a can of soda this time because I was driving Joven and Kay back to the apartment plus I didn't like to drink much. Joven was giggling like a girl telling me that he was getting tipsy and he will have a hangover tomorrow. Mari was laughing about something Ian said and Anthony was still not around to hang out with us. The party ended while everyone seemed exhausted from the long day and the party. I gathered Joven who was stumbling and Kay moved her way over towards us taking her brother's arm over her neck to help me drag Joven to the elevator. Anthony emerged from the conference room locked eyes with Kay and I before moving to the other room not saying a word to me or Kay which was odd. We headed down the elevator to the main lobby, dragged Joven who was still chuckling and mumbling about some odd stuff. Kay looked at me as we pulled Joven into the backseat of my car. Kay put Joven's seatbelt on as he laid in the backseat from all of the alcohol he consumed at the party. I got on the driver side with Kay hopping into the passenger side, I began driving back to the apartment and other than Joven's chuckling the whole ride was silent. I could see Kay had a lot on her mind, she was scrolling through her phone remaining silent until we pulled into the parking spot in front of our apartment. Kay and I took Joven's now limp body into the apartment, I unlocked the door pulling him into the apartment.
"You think we should put him in his bed?" I asked Kay shrugged, we both decided to pull Joven up the stairs to his bedroom. We put him onto the bed leaving him to sleep whatever as Kay made sure he wouldn't smother himself as he slept. We left Joven to sleep heading into the kitchen area to rehydrate from the party. Kay pulled off her black shawl placing it onto the table sitting on the stool as I handed her a water bottle. "Is everything alright Kay?"
"Yeah my mother called during the party, she still doesn't approve of Joven and I playing video games for a job. She thinks YouTube should be just a hobby and we should go out to do something that is important like be a cop or something. She doesn't understand, I am so glad I left to come here otherwise I would've strangled her." she answered I remember Joven talking about how his mother never approved of him and Kay playing videogames as a career. She seemed very adamant about her daughter doing something more important like be an accountant or something in that nature. I remember Kay telling me how much she hated math so that job as an accountant wouldn't have worked out for her. About an hour later Kay went to her room and crashed leaving me the only one awake amongst the three of us. I knew Kay had something else bugging her but I didn't want to push her too hard especially since she was angry with her mother right now. I decided to crash too because tomorrow I was supposed to show Kay what she had to do tomorrow at Smosh Games HQ and that is going to make tomorrow a longer day for us all.
