CHAPTER 38 ~~ANTHONY~~

I made it to the address with only five minutes to spare, I could see the light from the window upstairs as I took in a deep breath knowing I was probably walking into a trap. I knew Kay and the baby needed me, their was no other way I just hoped Ian did what I asked because I was going in unarmed. I slipped out of my car, I felt my heart pound in my ears as I walked up the sidewalk. With every step I kept hearing Kay scream though it was only in my mind it made my heart tighten. I climbed the steps onto the the porch hearing each creak my foot made on the old wood. I touched the door with my hand, I was just about to knock on the door when it opened before me on its own. It creaked open slowly as I stepped into the house seeing it was abandoned and vacant except when I heard creaks above me. I walked slowly towards the stairs, I took one step at a time trying to keep both of my feet silent except the stairs was my worse enemy right now. Each step squeaked with my feet, I sighed after each step I took because it was giving away where I was each time. I finally made it on top of the stairs seeing four rooms before me. There was one with a small light underneath the door, I started towards that door keeping my back against the wall. I traced the tacky wallpaper against the tips of my fingers I reached my right hand to the door knob taking it tightly into my hand. I took in a deep breath twisting the knob with my hand pushing the door open slowly. I saw Kay was sitting in the chair on the left side of the room, her mouth was covered with duct tape and her arms were behind her back. I pushed it more seeing no one else was in the room with her, I forced into the room now rushing towards Kay kneeling down in front of her.

"Kay...it's me..." I whispered touching either side of her face with my hands moving her brown hair tickling my fingers. She looked up at me, her brown eyes went wide as I felt the piece of tape that was keeping her silent. "I'm going to take this off..." I took the piece of tape in my fingers pulling it slowly from her lips until it was completely off. I moved behind her trying to fumble with the ropes to untie her until I heard a loud creak behind me. When I turned around Tommy slam something heavy onto my head causing me to collapse to the floor. I was feeling dizzy as Tommy moved towards Kay holding a huge knife tightly in his grip.

"Hello Padilla...are you ready to get what you deserve?" Tommy laughed touching the knife to Kay's arm my heart began to race.

"Don't hurt her...." I begged though he pressed the blade on her arm and I saw a small cut starting to form on her perfect skin. The blood began to drip down my arm as Kay began to screech from the cut on her arm.

"Hurt her? I'm not going to hurt her much? I'm going to show you what it feels like to have your heart rip out." he smiled evilly I could hear how loud my heart was pounding in my ears, he pressed the knife again against Kay's arm deepening the first cut. 

"I said stop!" I yelled seeing Tommy began to laugh almost maniacal at me while Kay looked up at me trying to contain her pain. 

"Maybe I should start here instead hmm...?" he laughed placing the knife on Kay's womb and she began to tremble with fear. That was the last straw for me as I leapt onto my feet and I charged at him feeling the anger that was inside me pinning him to the wall. I took his arm that held the knife slamming it repeatedly against the corner of the room knocking the knife free from his grasp. Threatening me is one thing, threatening Kay is another but threatening our baby then that is the last straw.
