CHAPTER 16 ~~ANTHONY~~

I laid flat on my back pressing my wrist on top of my forehead, my cell phone was in my grip and my mind was racing like crazy. Pip was rubbing against my feet trying to get comfortable, at least he was comfortable unlike me. Every thought in my mind was about the positive test that Kay had taken earlier today, I promised her that we would get through this but I wasn't sure if I believed my own bullshit. I was praying for the test to be a false positive but with my luck I knew I was in some deep shit with this. Kay was also worried what Joven and Wes would say to her about this. I could feel the LA heat on me but it felt like more weight being pushed onto my shoulders. It felt like the world was now weighing down onto me for the mistake that I should've been smarter about. I shouldn't have been drunk that night and I shouldn't have kissed Kay to the point of sleeping with her. I barely knew her and I might have knocked her up. I felt my phone vibrate against my forehead, I picked up seeing it was a new message from Kay.

K~I can't sleep, I just keep thinking about the test

A~I know I can't sleep either. Pip is sleeping better then the both of us right now

K~I bet Joven and Wes are sleeping better then me 

A~We will find out tomorrow and go from there

I put my phone on the bedside table rolling off my bed deciding a shower may help me try to sleep, I moved to the shower leaving Pip curled in a ball on my bed. I ran the shower, stripped myself of my shorts and boxers before getting into the hot water. I could feel it pound against my body, I pressed either hand on the wall letting the hot water pound on my back. I closed my eyes letting the water cause me to slip away until my brain began to flash back to the night that I spent with Kay. I remembered her lips on mine, they were soft and felt so right against mine even though I was drunk. I remembered holding her in my arms, feeling how hot her skin was against my grip. Then the images of our encounter flooded into my mind, I could hear my heavy breaths against the skin of her neck and her moans in my ears. I watched as I grabbed her pulling her tighter to me and everything was telling me that this was right. I lifted my head letting the hot water flood my face and soak my hair trying to wash the memories away but they stayed in my mind. I turned off the shower head as the water swirled into the drain. I opened my eyes feeling the water drizzle down my face and fall from my eye lashes. I grabbed the towel that was hanging on the side, I brushed it against my head before placing it onto my waist. I dried myself off changing back into my shorts and exited the bathroom to see Pip was now on his back. I swore that he was just like a little puppy because he was sleeping on his back and snoring away like one. I crawled into the bed laying my head on the pillow carefully not to disturb Pip, I leaned over turning off the bedside table light near my phone flicking it off. I could feel my eyes getting heavy as I slipped into unconsciousness with only one thing on my mind and that was Kendall Ovenshire.
