The two faced off as she phased Morlun & Lockheed with through walls of a nearby building. They used their powers to attack the hunter & he finally fled after he was wounded by the flaming attacks. The duo made it back to Peter as the authorities unmasked the fallen hero. The X-Men finally got to the scene, but it was too late. News outlest all over televised the destruction of what just went down & what transpired afterwards.
Kitty couldn't reveal her identity for Spider-Man's so she held her tears in underneath her mask. She lifted her king up to speak to him, but no words. Lockheed yelped in saddness as the team around him all felt the pain of their comrad. Wolverine fell to his knees. He had been like a son to him. Aunt May, Jonah Jameson & Professor X along with Reed Richards & his family were devastated. The world was devastated.

He is transported to the hospital where is kept in a private room, isolated from normal civilians. Dr. Strang & Wanda perform surgery to keep Peter alive & keep stable. Later that night, Miles sit on the roof top with MJ & they don't talk. They just hold each other. People are praying the spidey can pull through.
