Chapter 4: The Drive

It was Their 4th day at the base, and things weee going smoothly, If smoothly meant nearly causing an evacuation because someone thought Jason's spilled coffee was radioactive material.

And things were about to get even worse, but know one knew what was about to happen, as it was disguised as the monthly log drive.

But we will get to that when we get to that, so for until that happens in a couple minutes, lets focus on Isabel for now.

Isabel now had one more step to her morning routine: Examine Godzilla from her bedroom.

As she left and got ready for her day, she encountered Jason.

Jason: Hey Isa, are you ready for the upload?

Isabel: The- What? Upload?

Jason: Oh yeah, you forgot about the briefing this morning. So every month, they do a sort of upload on the current data at every monarch outpost that has a living titan, and todays the day.

???: And you will be the ones to take the hard drive in.

They turn around and see Dr. Russel.

Dr. Russel: Normally I would have a high ranking official take it in, but a meeting is going on when it's supposed to arrive.

She pauses, looks around, and turns to face at them once again.

Dr. Russel: I want you to do it. Learn the ropes of a smaller Monarch Control Center.

Dr. Russels phone then rings. She goes on towards the meeting room.

Dr. Russel: Talk to me Outpost 9.

As she walks on, they look out at Godzilla's glowing dorsal plates.

Isabel: A week ago, Who knows what our plans were for today.

Jason: Now look at where we are.

They continue looking in as the light show ends, but all of a sudden, an announcement rings.

Speaker: Dr. Rick Stanton here, just wanted to let everyone known that the package has arrived, and it will arrive at the port. To whoever has to get it, find a map and get going.

Jason/Isabel: Let's split up. While Jason just ended up getting lost, Isabel found the place. It ended up being close to the balcony.

As she finds the control room, she finds Jason.

Jason: Oh thank god, you found it. As they walk in together, The port activates and rises up from the main console. But the workers were anything but serious at the moment.

Rick Stanton: I'm telling you Chen it's a Hollow Earth!

The woman who is now named as Chen thinks for a second before responding.

Chen: For the last time Rick, Hollow Earth Can not Exist! Explain for us Gottlieb.

A man pulls a white board out of a closet with mathematical calculations and diagrams all over it.

Gottlieb: According to my calculations, there is  a 99.87 percent chance that the earth can collapse into itself if there is a hollow earth.

Isabel: HEY! WE HAVE THE UPLOAD, SO DONT STAND AROUND ARGUING. WE ALL HAVE JOBS TO DO, SO DO THEM.

As everyone looks at them. Then at the port. Then at the drive.

Rick Stanton: Sorry about that. Geiszler get  the computer ready.

The man who was now named as Geiszler typed something in the computer, and a beep noise was made, which is followed by the console lights turning on.

Isabel: Ready to install?

Geiszler: All good to go!

As the console is being placed in, Dr. Russel bursts into the room.

Dr. Russel: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The drive is connected.
