Godzilla was approaching Tiamat very fast. And close behind him was the Argo.
Dr. Coleman: First, when we arrive in Savannah, We will do an Osprey drop in the Battle zone and evacuate everyone that we can there. We will then fan out towards the edges of the city and evacuate everyone in those sections.
The Argo flys over the ocean and across the coastline, back at the ocean, dorsal plates begin to rise. When he arrives on the beach, he stands at full height.
Dr. Russel: Get a Scan on him!
Eventually, when the scan is complete, he is already entering downtown.
Rick: 165.5 meters. 542 feet tall.
As they fly away from Godzilla to avoid getting struck by the tail, Godzilla moves in closer.
Godzilla looks around for his enemy. The humans called her Tiamat. He heard her scream for a fight.
Eventually she showed herself and her seven sets of limbs.

She then stopped, bared her available claws, and opened her flaps as an intimidation display.

Godzilla responded by flashing his dorsal plates and putting his tail into a scorpion like position.

And the Two titans had at it.
Godzilla ran first, swinging his whip-like tail.
CRACK
His tail slammed right into Tiamat's side and knocked her down. She retaliated by wrapping herself around him. She then bit down on him to hold on better
This did not work as he grabbed her by the mouth and flung her into a building, though he knocked himself over in getting Tiamat off.
She used this to her advantage by climbing up that building and jumping down to get to a weak spot of his. His dorsal plates.
She landed and bit down on one. She pulled and pulled and pulled-
CRACK
Tiamat had broken a dorsal plate.
Godzilla was absolutely pissed. He would show Tiamat that He was the alpha.
A dorsal plate on the tip of the tail began glowing, and gas was coming out of the barbs on his tail, then the next dorsal plate, and the next, and so on.
Tiamat could sense that she was in danger. She tried to run, but in trying to keep herself steady on Godzilla, had anchored herself into his back.
The light was moving towards his head faster and faster.
Godzilla reached to Tiamat and forced her into a building. By then, the dorsals were only getting smaller as the light reached his head.
The smaller plates lit up, with his gills, and then his eyes, and then:

The blue-green beam flew like a raging forest fire.
Tiamat screeched in pain, trying to get out of the building as hard as she could.
A black plane all of a sudden flew straight through the fire. 'What lunatics! Are they trying to die?' He thought.
In his confused stupor, Tiamat dislodged herself, and also the building. Causing both Godzilla, and Tiamat to get buried.
After a short while, Tiamat burst out of the wreckage and tried to crawl away, failing miserably due to her injuries.
Godzilla burst out about 15 seconds later.

Godzilla turned around and walked to her. Her skin was charred and some of the head flaps were burnt off.
