The purpose and ultimate goal of life, according to Aristotle, is to achieve Eudaemonia. So, what exactly is it? Eudaemonia was attained through living virtuously – or being good. This does not guarantee ‘happiness’ in the modern sense. In fact, it may be doing something that bothers us, like telling a heart-wrenching truth to a friend. 

When we think about a thriving person today, righteousness do not always come to mind. Rather, we look at someone who is comparatively successful, healthy, and has access to a variety of good things in life. We are inclined to believe that fulfillment involves both good qualities and good luck.

Happiness will only happen in the end. I had no plan to commit this because it’s wrong, but I’ll be the happiest person to feel this pain. And that will be death, for me. I wanna enjoy life, yet it’s not simple as it seems.”

This is my answer for our Ethics essay task. It somehow made me feel something inside me, like a somersault. I’m happy that I understood the given topic, but in my mind, it is not really what I feel. For the sake of having it done, I had to push myself composing this content. It’s sad that I don’t belong in that category of life, that I’ve been better, maybe it’s not for me to fulfill my desire.
