We ended our class last weekend. Satisfied with my grades, I’ll definitely miss sleeping during virtual sessions. I still can’t get over with the moment I accidentally took a nap during our lecture. And it was on cam! Our professor filmed me and showed it the other day. They made fun of me. My block mates laughed hard, almost catching their breath. How annoying. A sigh of relief, they didn’t tease me again, since were promoting an anti bullying program. My mates are really great, it’s only a one time event of being a laughingstock. No butt hurts, just pure fun. Yet, I hate the fact it was me in the spotlight.
Now, I’m off to town. I came all the way from home to grandma’s. Mother asked me if I could visit him after my semester. So I did. I bought a stuffed toy, and she loved it so much. Me and my grandma is very, very close. Being the only child of my parents, I often got left out while having fun with my relatives especially, cousins. Yet, grandma always cheers me up. We’d love listening to her radio and plays classic songs. She became the inspiration of my love of old soul music. We paint together and showered me with compliments.
Midday, the sun is high. I wasn’t bothered with the temperature. Thanks to the aircon. As of the moment, me and grandma is playing chess. I really don’t understand how does it goes, but I’m letting her win anyway. A smile crept up to my face, seeing her eye, smiles, laughing joyfully as she won against me. Later then, we both get our bums up and baked together, cookies. She sat down watching me as I move around baking. I don’t know what’s going on in her mind as she asked me if I do have a girlfriend. I answered, yes. I have many friends who’s a girl. I winced in pain as she hit my head. What’s wrong with my answer? I’m just being honest though.
