"shit" she whispers under her breath while throwing clothes behind her to find the phone hidden underneath
"found it!" she shouts excitedly with said phone in her hand
"Bells 🌺❤️" could be read on the facetime call taking up the screen. she clicks the answer button while stretching out her phone in front of her for a better angle
"hey Bells!" a cheerful tone coming with the words
"god Pay, i almost thought you slept in. are you ready yet? we still gotta pick you up"
"uh" she looks down at all the clothes she just threw around, she turns to glance at the half full suitcase and the completely empty backpack
"yep!" she lies, she knows Belly was gonna get on her if she told the truth
"okay just checking! i'm almost done myself"
"who is that?" a distant voice could be heard from Belly's phone "it's Pay" and that was all Taylor needed to hear before grabbing the phone
